Re: Can't view web pages imported with Scrivener 2 for Mac on Scrivener 3 Beta on Windows.

I realize, webarchive is a proprietary Apple-only data format. This means I can't access my research documents on Windows? o.O Not necessarily. But without support for webarchive format, Scrivener can't do it. Safari (for Windows) is able to read those, and then you can save to some other format th...

Re: Can't view web pages imported with Scrivener 2 for Mac on Scrivener 3 Beta on Windows.

I looked in the filesystem and the file created by importing the webpage looks like what it should be. So maybe it is a display problem in the Windows Beta?

Can't view web pages imported with Scrivener 2 for Mac on Scrivener 3 Beta on Windows.

I imported some research web pages on Mac and wanted to look at them on Windows. All I get is a nearly blank page. Does this mean the Web pages are only embedded and not actually archived locally for offline viewing? https://www.dropbox.com/s/zlkzao9426sw2p5/Selection_520.png https://www.dropbox.com...

Re: best option for running Scrivener on Mint 19?

I'm on Linux Mint, too. I run Scrivener2 via PlayOnLinux quite stable. Yet I tried to install Scrivener3 and had no luck by now. I can run the current Beta on Kubuntu 17.10 under Wine, and it does have a couple of issues: * input stops working correctly after a while (typing activates menus, like t...

When to expect a 3.x Beta?

Hi, I own, for some month now, a nice and quick Android tablet. It replaces most of the time my much heavier and old laptop for writing on the road. And because I'm much more mobile now, with longer battery power, I chose to write not at my desk on four of seven days. I still like to structure and o...

Re: Plain text import fails

1. Import the plain-text file -- it imports and you see it in the binder, but it has a blank document icon and there is no text visible for it in the editor 2. Close the project, then reopen the project -- the document now has all its text and the correct document icon in the binder . This works. T...

Plain text import fails

Hello, when I try importing a plain text file via "Add -> Files .." the resulting document is always empty. The file I'm trying to import is a 20k plain text file, ISO-8850-15 encoded. Windows 7 Professional, Scrivener 1.6.1.0 The project I tried to import in is really old by now. I even c...

Re: Linux 1.6.1.1 Beta Released

Here the new version crashes reproducible when I want to make snapshots. The 1.5.x.x crashed, too. This is the error message I got: Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x40804) with this library (version 0x40800) I work on Linux Mint Olivia Cinnamon. And the package manager says the Beta exp...

Re: Dashboard & Dictionary request.

First request - a Dashboard: It would be great if Scrivener had a Dashboard so, when you opened it, your project list, nks to forums like these, , recent/helpful announcements from L&L, a calendar perhaps and perhaps other features the writer could select (or not select) as well. I would SO lov...

Haha. You mean there would be something helpful be integrated into the OS? In Windows? Tehe. Keep your faith. :-)
