Re: Two or three new uses for Scrivener

I'm a retired teacher, taking a break from learning to use Scrivener. The suggestion for a reader's Scrivener should be made to Peter Mayer: http://newkindofbook.com/ I tried to send him a memo, but couldn't find where I posted his contact address. I'll get back to this once I've got my novel import...

Uninstall before downloading just bought Scriviener?

I finished the first and part of the 2nd draft of my Nano novel in open office; now I have time to buy Scrivener and learn it effectively. I've got copies of my novel safe in files and in hard copy, and on symantec. I was clearly desperate from losing files. I want to uninstall the mess I made with ...

NaNo Wants to buy Scrivener for Window s

Help! I have finally figured out why I'm having so much trouble with the trial version on this new computer. I would like to just go ahead and buy the new Windows version, and use it to complete my NaNo novel. Problem: How do I know that what I download is the right one for my novel and verifying my...

Re: Corkboard Pattern - warmer options

I saw this back in August. So glad I found it again. Could you send me instructions to make this change? e-mail: jeannecurran@habermas.org I guess this means I'm not giving up. Could you tell me where I could find someone who could answer simple questions: Like once I've written notes in the inspect...

Re: Multi-tasking

Help! I'm desperate. Could any of you who are multi-tasking or whatever answer a few really basic questions, like once I've written notes in the inspector, how do I get them to show up on the corkboard? Like when I press SAVE instead of SAVE AS , where do I look for the files from SAVE and the files...

Re: Urgent: Reward for help with the non-saving bug

I did several uninstalls. Because I thought it wasn't working. But my version says it's 0.0.45. I have files all over the place, but it could just be my fault. I did this awful thing. Ordered a new computer with dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu. I had never used Word except in rare circumstances with ...

Stupidity. Mine

When I downloaded Scrivener for windows I didn't know how to unzip in the modern world, and I somehow really messed up. I downloaded the old trial with no trouble. And went through the tutorial. Uninstalled that to download the NaNo 11 version. Didn't call a tech because it was the weekend. Can I un...

downloading and starting the program

My problem seems trivial, but I'm struggling with a brand new dual boot computer with Ubuntu and Windows. I want to run Scrivener on Windows because I'm just learning Linux. But everything I'm using is brand new, to me, that is. I thought I unzipped, 'scuse me, decompressed, the Scrivener file OK. B...
