Re: 2-panel Outliner mode, why one panel has larger line spacing?

Yes, that worked. In the view selector, I selected Default - and then created my own 2-panel mode from scratch, and both panels had the same line spacing. def.png When the software developers created the panel presets, I can't see the logic of why they defined a preset that ignores the spacings set ...

Re: 2-panel Outliner mode, why one panel has larger line spacing?

SC, for the botton-right button, I believed I set those buttons identically in each panel to show the synopses. That's because only in that mode is there line-wrapping. (In the other mode, the end of lines are cut short with dot dot dot at the end. Here are my settings. As you can see, it is identic...

2-panel Outliner mode, why one panel has larger line spacing?

I have 2 panels both in Outliner mode, In each, at the bottom right corner, I've selected the icon that gives me word-wrap. I can't figure out why, in the two Outliner panels, one has greater line spacing than the other. I understand that, in the Preferences / Apperance / Outliner / Options, we can ...

Re: Seeing diagrams when in Outline mode

In the last few days of experimenting, I feel that the corkboard-diagram is not my ideal destination. The reason is that the corkboard, at any instant, only shows one layer. The corkboard is unlike the Outliner which can show several layers. I'd much prefer, as per my feature request, of being able ...

Re: Seeing diagrams when in Outline mode

I was shown how to achieve this using visual mode in the corkboard. See the link given above.

Thanks Katherine. That should suit my purpose fine. I'm able to drag and drop diagrams into the Synopsis of each corkboard item, and it displays inside the cork.

Re: Seeing diagrams when in Outline mode

In the method you gave, the diagrams are in the left column, while the writing is in the middle column. Below is a diagram of what I'd like to achieve in Scrivener, where each text/diagram is one item in the Outliner, so I can play around with the sequence. For instance, the ability to shift "t...

Seeing diagrams when in Outline mode

Often, when conceiving ideas, diagrams and writing go together. For my project, I'm storyboarding the flow of idea for videos. I sketch diagrams using the Skitch app, and have short sentences to describe the diagram. Hence, in the Outliner, I would like diagrams to be displayed. However, it appears ...

Re: Seeing diagrams when in Outline mode

Thanks brookter. Although it's not ideal for my project, I'll have to make the best of what's there.

Seeing diagrams when in Outline mode

Is it possible to make diagrams visible when in Outline mode? If not, can you consider this as a feature request. I'm using Scrivener to outline and storyboard the flow of idea for videos. Hence, I would like to paste into the Outliner some sketches of each scene. I realise that diagrams are visible...

Is there a way to grab and move the entire screen around?

On some macOS apps, there is an ability to grab the screen and move it around, e.g. depressing the middle mouse button. For instance, when the elements extend beyond one screen's worth, and I want to quick way to navigate around -- rather than having to go separately to the side and bottom scroll ba...

how to synchronize the Outliner or Scrivenings?

If I have two panels, the Outliner in the left panel, and the Scrivenings in the right panel (the Binder is hidden), is there a way for the Outliner and Scrivenings to be in sync? i.e. if I click an item in the Outliner in the left panel, I want to readily be brought, in the right panel, to the corr...

Re: Spell check not working in projects?

I've been mulling over this, even since my last post above. For another piece of software that I use, that app has reached version 8 after a couple of decades in so doing becoming probably the most feature-packed add in its field. But incredibly complex to learn. Their recent version's focus has bee...
