Re: Pages in Project Target

Oops! I ought to have said project statistics. Okay--now both my projects are way off the printed pages. What can I do to fix?

Re: Scrivener for Windows now available for *pre-order*

Oh and I want to say big big big thank you to all who have worked on this! No problem re delay. Doesn't that happen to all writers? I know that my last novel took me 4 more years than I expected. It's coming out February 2012!

Re: Scrivener for Windows now available for *pre-order*

I've pre-ordered too. Can't wait! I am a bit nervous about the cross-over, ie beta expires Nov 7th and purchased version available Nov 7. Can I download the nanomo trial version over the 049?

Re: Targets Word Count

OMG I found it...and I've written 84 words in 2 1/2 hours. Yikes! I guess I should be careful what I wish for.

Targets Word Count

Is there a way to set a word count target for a daily session rather than for a document? or is that too impractical? What I would want ideally is to know how by how many words my draft has increased (or decreased!) today or this week. It's not really helpful to set a target for a particular scene b...

Re: BETA 046 RELEASED

Love this! I just noticed that the manual gives the shortcut key for project statistics as shift-control-T (which doesn't work) but in the menu it shows as control+. (which does work).

Importing RTF

I saved a docx file as RTF. Then I imported it. For some reason the lines were short. It didn't change the page setup as far as I could tell (which oddly starts with teen-tiny page margins). I tried using copy and paste, same problem. I had to copy from RTF to notepad, then copy that into Scrivener ...
