If you start Scrivener from the command line you should get an error message when it crashes. it might be the same as the problem I have in importing anything which may be connected to running it on a 64bit system under some, as yet, undefined situations.
So I run a 64 bit OS on my 64 bit machine. I do this because it's been YEARS since a 64 bit OS has been available for Linux, to run on 64 bit hardware, and it seems silly not to. I agree wholeheartedly with this point, 32 bit code is, in my mind, obsolete - and has been for ten years. Spellcheck is...
For me it is no where near useable, I cannot even import text and there appears to be no help for me to get it to work. I am sticking with Plume Creator and Storybook 4 until this thing gets to being usable.
This is something else that does not work for me, same lack of behaviour as idc has. I can however open it with the keyboard shortcut CTL+SHIFT+/. I worked through the included tutorial, the spacewalk pdf file opens as a blank document, 4 pages of nothing, I can open the pdf manual ok from F! or new project/getting started. The media fi...
I realise this is more of a niggle than serious functionality failure, but there is a lot of unnecessary mark-up in the HTML, most of which can be normalised into the single CSS file that Scrivener generates anyway. This is not a niggle it is a serious flaw and should be stamped on immediately, add...
