Re: Academic writing: Scrivener, Zotero, Pandoc, Marked 2

*Bump* for various updates which make this an even better workflow, in particular much better citation support.

Re: In-text markdown formatting

That's fair enough I suppose, I've come to realise that I would probably be better off using a slightly different programme, but I'm well invested in scrivener now and I can just about bend it to my workflow. I'll just have to make sure I don't miss any markup! @KB If you're going to be piping thing...

In-text markdown formatting

I've looked around but can't see this mentioned anywhere: it would be pretty useful for those that write in markdown if the italics, bold, underline shortcuts could be used to create *italics* **bold** _underline_ instead of italics bold underline . This has been implemented in other open source pro...

Re: Draftin.com sync

Just a little update: It is sort-of-possible to get this working by syncing to an external (dropbox or google drive) folder, and then syncing this folder with Draft. How robust this will be I have yet so see - I'll certainly be making an effort to backup at both ends of the equation. The only slight...

Academic writing: Scrivener, Zotero, Pandoc, Marked 2

This is also available on github where it is probably easier to read. I just wanted to post a very robust setup for using Scrivener and Zotero, since it's something that took me a while to work out, and it might save people the hassle! This is a very detailed description of how to set it up, so don...

Draftin.com sync

Hi there, I just wanted to suggest that you look at http://draftin.com a (relatively) simple online text-editing service, which seems to me more in key with Scrivener's ethos than Simplenote. It's also made by a single developer, who is extremely helpful and I imagine would be very responsive to any...

Simplenote Sync and Folders

Hi there, I'm trying to use simplenote (which I already use extensively for note-taking with NValt) to sync certain notes to the 'Notes' and 'Ideas' folders of a project, but not for any of the writing. The problem is that each time I create a new note, I have to go to sync options and specifically ...
