More revision-mode colours!

About to start the 6th revision of a particular project, but have used up all the revision-mode colours.

I know I can blacken some existing ones, and re-use them, but being able to see all revisions so far is such a useful feature. I would rather add new colours instead!

Re: 10 years and counting

AmberV!!! ~waves excitedly~
You are definitely one of the stars from those early days (and since, I know), with your encyclopaedic knowledge and pointers to getting it right.

The number of times I never even had to ask the question, because you'd already answered it somewhere else :D Thank you too!

Re: 10 years and counting

I've had to go and check now, and my anniversary (the earliest creation date I can find) is 9th July 2006 – when Scrivener Gold was still freeware (i.e. before the release of Scrivener 1.0). I couldn't believe my luck in finding it. It was – even then (before later features were added) – the perfect...

10 years and counting

I've just realised I've been using Scrivener for over ten years! I started using it for a novel, but now it has taken over almost every part of my written world! Novels, short stories, education assignments, planning website-structure, children's homework, christmas wish-lists, shopping lists(!), et...

Re: Can I Live In Scrivener?

I pretty much live in Scrivener, using multiple projects (it's easy enough to switch between windows): one for each of the several novels I'm writing/planning; one for all the short stories; one for general correspondence; one for each of my (increasing number of) university modules; one for each of...

Your third-beer-of-the-night solution worked perfectly.
Thank you!

Re: Graphics/Photos

Ah, yes. Larger images are being limited to the inspector width, but smaller images are not being forced to fit (enlarged where necessary) as before. Thus, images are now displayed with many different widths (depending on resolution), whereas before they had only one: the column width. I liked that....

Re: Graphics/Photos

Not obsessive! I too like to keep relevant photographs in the document notes. In Scriv1, the images defaulted to column width, which was great - they all came out the same size, regardless of differences in their actual resolutions. In Scriv2, I'm finding they display proportionally to their true si...

Re: Scrivener for iPad

Don't listen to those pushers, Keith. Any of them! You gotta do what you feel able to do, and no more. You're doing a great job. I don't want you to be Apple, or Omni, or anyone else. I love your product, and that's because it's you and David who make it possible. Not some faceless multinational. I ...

Writing Shorties with Scrivener

Well, and novels too, but Scrivener is just great for short-story writing . Keeping Track of WIP I have all the stories in one project, listed in the binder. I can move them about, and file them, according to their markets (and thus easily work on a pre-sorted batch that need to be in the same style...

Re: Invisibles: Search & Replace

I've posted a nerdy solution to your problem in this thread . Be warned, though, it's not for the faint of heart. 8) Wow, I love that list of services! I'm not such a programmer as I was in my nerdy student days, and I've never even got as far as working out how apple scripts work [ahem] , so I'd s...
