Re: List Indents Not Changing Hierarchy?

Tabs are behaving strangely with list items. I added a numbered list in a new document. Make a few random text entries, they work fine. Tab a blank entry, I get a period "." where the number was. Reverse tab, then, and the number is restored, but the entry tabbed backward. Tab that, and t...

Re: [Bug?] Auto-gen ToC for ePub has 'Unknown' rather than chapter titles

Hello! I believe this is a bug we know about regarding Folders in Compile. Can you confirm for me whether or not this occurs when 'Group' is set to 'As-Is' in the Section Layouts? If it does then this may be a different bug. Thank you! Thanks for the reply. I changed the relevant Section Types to u...

[LH2992] Auto-gen ToC for ePub has 'Unknown' rather than chapter titles

Hi folks: apologies if this has already been reported - I searched but couldn't find it. I'm running V2.9.08. When I compile my MS to ePub (2 or 3) using either the default Compile formats or my own custom format for ebooks, the ToC that is generated in the compiled epub has 'Unknown' instead of the...

Re: First line indent

Lastly, there is never a reason to add feature requests for things that are already in the Mac version; we haven't had time to program and test them in the Windows version, yet. Nearly everything you see in the Mac version is a de facto to do list for the Windows version, as it has been. Glad to he...

...except updating the style strips out bold and italics.

Sigh. Not great.

Re: Set Compile to not indent first paragraph of document only?

Only solution seems to be change it in Word after i.e. create a new style based on the Normal template, but without the first line indent, then go through and apply that style to the first paras of my 120-odd scenes. A bit tedious, but oh well.

Looking forward to this being an option in Scrivener!

Set Compile to not indent first paragraph of document only?

Hi - Apologies if this has already been answered - I searched and found some related topics but nothing conclusive. I'm compiling my project (novel) to a Word doc (ready for tweaking, publishing to PDF, and uploading to CreateSpace). So my novel looks like normal paperbacks, I want to set the first ...

Re: Compile to MOBI uses wrong CSS, breaks on Kindle Fire

Thanks, it would save some (minimal) effort if I could get a clean MOBI direct from Scrivener.

Re: Compile to MOBI uses wrong CSS, breaks on Kindle Fire

That was so easy! - Compile to ePub in Scrivener - Open in Sigil - Find/replace font-weight:600 with font-weight:bold in all HTML files - Save ePub - Open in Kindle Previewer, creates MOBI Took two minutes! I haven't actually tested the new MOBI on a Kindle Fire yet (my fiancee's taken it to work), ...

Re: Compile to MOBI uses wrong CSS, breaks on Kindle Fire

Hmm. Possible workaround, but another problem. Calibre has a 'Tweak Book' function, which can 'explode' an e-book into the component files which you can then edit, in my case changing the font-weight setting. Then you just hit the 'Rebuild' button and it pulls it back together into a single MOBI fil...
