Re: Is it possible to find these 'hidden' links in text?

You think like I do! I still bookmark things in the browser as well, if I think they’ll be generally useful, but (...) for many things where large quantities of very specific bookmarks are needed, keeping them in the main notebook project is better. Exactly! It allows for a more descriptive w...

Re: Is it possible to find these 'hidden' links in text?

Excellent, thanks for your time AmberV. That not only helps me finding links within the many project I made with Scrivener, but also gives way to a new application of Scrivener: a separate bookmarks file. So a collection/database of links (+ additional notes if you like) that can be kept independent...

Re: Is it possible to find these 'hidden' links in text?

You cannot search by URL just yet (the soon to be released 3.1.4 compatibility update for macOS 10.15 will indeed add this capability). But that aside, the link finder tool is the way to trawl through links, albeit manually and slowly for now. Thanks AmberV . • So, it will find hidden links? Thus, ...

Re: Is it possible to find these 'hidden' links in text?

You can use Edit->Find->Find by Formatting. Choose "Links" from the drop-down list. You might even be able to put the URL into the text field of the search to find a specific link, but I'm not sure if that will work. Thanks rdale , but that doest work. I was talking about hidden links. So...

Is it possible to find these 'hidden' links in text?

Re: No Scapple preview in Scrivener

Looks like it has something to do with using cloud and jagged borders on notes. Changing bordes to those, prevents QL producing a preview. Turning it back to rounded (or square) borders and the problem disappears. Process is repeatable.

Re: No Scapple preview in Scrivener

Completely de-installed /re-installed Scapple. Also forced the QuickLook generator to reload (Terminal: qlmanage -r).
All files work in QL, like pdf, jpg, weblocs. Except Scapple files.

Re: No Scapple preview in Scrivener

Scrivener uses the Quick Look engine to display previews of file formats it cannot read directly. Have you noticed any problems with Quick Look when using it from Finder, either with .scap files or in general? Thanks AmberV. Yes, Scapple previews also do not work in the Finder. Will re-install and ...

No Scapple preview in Scrivener

Hi! Since installing the latest Scapple (1.3.2) and the latest Scrivener (3.1.2), I no longer have previews of my Scapple-documents in the Scrivener-editor. I'm on High Sierra (10.13.6). I restarted the apps and restarted my Mac to no avail. And could not find a solution In the manual either. Thanks...

Re: Feature Requests / Suggestions

In love with Scapple! Points of further improvement could be: • An obvious place where background textures are stored (like icons in Scrivener). Cannot find it now. Looked in Library > Application Support > Scapple and in the package contents of Scapple. Maybe that would ease collecting textures. An...

Re: Presets of colors for icons in binder

I just quickly checked the manual. On keyword 'colors' and I browsed 'Chapter 10. Setting Up Meta-Data'. At first sight, it seems not explicitly mentioned these icon colors (or meta-data for that matter) should have names. Maybe an idea to include? Also, if possible of course, it might be an idea to...

Re: Presets of colors for icons in binder

I think I found it.

Colors only work properly when they are named. I worked with just colors, without names.

Maybe worth having a look at it?

Thanks for your time AmberV, appreciated!

Re: Presets of colors for icons in binder

O.K. I'll give that a try, thanks. Allow me some time though. :|

I work with 10.9.4 and Scrivener 2.5 (25239) from the day it came out.

One question: Can I savely remove everything Scrivener installed in my system without losing the colors in my projects?
