Splitting a large manuscript into two

I wrote a novel, a big one. Now after starting the third edit I have decided to break it into two novels. How easy is it to that? The only method I have found so far is to resave under a different name and then go into the original and delete the later chapters and then go into the new one and delet...

Re: Yet Another Character Sheet

Thanks, that worked. I have been using this program for about 2 years and I feel like a newbie at this program. I have written four books in it, but then export it to word to clean it up and save for ebook formatting. Then I do the ebook conversion in Calibre. I will get there. Thank for the help. D...

Re: Yet Another Character Sheet

I liked the character sheets, but I don't know how to get them into Scrivener. I downloaded the file, but when I try to open it, it opens in Calibre. If I cut and paste into Scrivener, it comes in weird and the sliders don't work on the second part of the sheet.
I am feeling really dumb right now.

Re: Can I Live In Scrivener?

I have been using Scrivener now for about 3 years. I don't think I use it as well as I could, but I use it almost exclusively. Re: 5 free copies of my new e-book formatting guide

Are there any copies left? I have fought with the conversion process and finally gave up in scrivener and have been doing it in Word along with Calibre. It would be great if I could do it all in Scrivener.
Thanks

scrolling in editor freezes.

I have opened a new project and found when I get to the bottom of the editor window that I can't move down to seem beyond the first window limitations. If I go to Compose mode I can see it, but when I switch back to editor mode I am stuck seeing what is within the bounds of the initial view.
