Re: BETA 046 RELEASED

Hi, Odd formatting issue with copy and paste from web pages. Large chunks of copied test sometimes show up as underlined Courier, whatever the original formatting. As a fix, I've been copying such chunks into Evernote and then copy/pasting them from there into Scrivener, where they come out precisel...

Re: simplenote and scrivener

Post in haste, regret at leisure: didn't finish what I wanted to say, misspelled my own name.

What would be really nice is a File|Sync functionality like (apparently) on the Mac.

Is that in the works, BTW?

Re: How to use bibliography and references?

Scrivener and Zotero don't naturally interact, but I've found the following kludge to work quite well for me. * Create citations in Zotero in Firefox. * Paste citations into MS Word. Zotero has a hot key for this, or you can use drag and drop. This gives you a beautifully formatted bibliography that...

Re: Footnote Question

Regarding Zotero, which has been mentioned in passing: Zotero now has a standalone version, which I've just installed and am fooling around with. It's free, has brilliant web import capabilities and is being developed vigorously. However, I can find no way of cutting and pasting citation data into S...

Re: Scrivener's Parts & Structure

Thanks, AmberV. That helps a lot. It seems to be Scrivener's nature to be understood only in bits and pieces, which I find somewhat frustrating. I want to see the overall structure and how all its parts interact ... because that's one way I find most useful in understanding a complex structure like ...

Scrivener's Parts & Structure

I'm having a hard time visualizing how different the binder, editor, and inspector interact with views of each part and then what can and can't go into texts and folders and how their contents will how up in different views. I'd love to see it all sketched out, which would allow me to get the relati...

Re: Scrivener and OneNote

Those dissatisfied with OneNote might check out Evernote. I've used the free version for over a year and find it works as well as anything for gathering miscellaneous information; its copies of web pages come off better than anything else I've worked with. And it can be accessed online from your com...

Re: Unable to read PDF files

Hi,

I downloaded the dll file, but Windows Explorer/Teracopy won't let me copy it to the Scrivener directory. Anyone got any ideas about whether this is something peculiar with the file or my system?
