Personally, I was disappointed in the macbook air. I liked what they were going for, but I think they missed their mark and made some mistakes. I really did not see anything added feature wise, except the new touch pad, but then again, thats not new, all macbooks could do that if they would install ...
From the amount of research I have done on Mac's and what I personally know of PC's. Pound for pound, I have found a lower priced PC with better hardware Stats then Mac everytime. In my opinion, Mac's sell for for their aesthetic appeal, and of course, OS-X. I am buying a Mac for scrivener, and beca...
I am waiting to see if they announce the new macbooks next month. Its time for the update, and it would be smart to do it just before x-mas. A few weeks won't kill me.... hopefully.
I do not really know if this is possible or not, but if making a dictionary/thesaurus is to much of a pain. Perhaps integrating a already existing one would be easier. Example being, having a shortcut key or icon that activates whatever 3rd party dictionary/thesaurus program you do have on your Mac?...

Thank you. :D After much debate, I have decided... to buy a Mac. God help me lol! Right now I am figuring out if I want a macbook or a macbook pro....
This might be a dumb question, but does the OS-X work on pcs? I plan on buying a laptop soon, and I know little next to nothing about anything mac related. Thats why I ask.
Afraid not - at least, there are no current plans. Scrivener is built using Objective-C and Cocoa, which are native to OS X, so there is no way of porting it across to Windows without a lot of work and re-coding, and I am just one person. If I ever come across a writer/coder with a similar philosop...
