That sounds very cool Matt. As Tinu says, things will get a bit complicated as we use it differently. Best to choose a safe way for all to use. Did a bunch more syncing today, and no problems arose. It's looking good!
I'll throw Lion on my laptop and start playing around with it. Update: Been testing Aeon 070 (and 062) on Lion for the past few hours. So far most everything looks great with the exception of tags. I seem to be noticing some extra tag weirdness, but I need to test it on my other (snow leopard) syste...
Great info Matt. That helps me see where you're coming from. It sounds like I'm going in the wrong direction. Thanks for the "inspector info" Tinu... very helpful (I'm a noob at both programs). This may be where you're headed : If Aeon-only "label/story arc/entity" metadata can s...
Here's a bug I've seen in 0.6.2 as well as the latest 0.7.0. Usually it only happens when I first open a timeline to work on it. After I've created an event and begin to fill in tags from the inspector pane, if the tag I'm typing is new, then I spell it out and hit the comma. It turns to a tag bubbl...
Very cool! Q: When I add a new event to Aeon timeline after synchronizing the 1st time & then synchronize again, the newly added Scriv doc is listed at the bottom of the previously synced docs in Scrivener. Is there a way to get the subsequent syncs to recognize the date assigned to the new Aeon...
Thank you for your reply! Hahaha, yes it was a copy! If I've learned anything, it's don't let the mob fondle the original! ^_^ I agree, locking is useful, but needs a careful balance not to annoy the user. So far, I have yet to work in Aeon (both views) without the inspector turned on . It's helpful...
Hello, First off, Aeon is fantastic! I work with a small writer's group and we're knee-deep into several hundred events over 8 story arcs on Aeon, and so far it has given us only the smallest bit of trouble. It works much better than most of the online timeline programs we've used. We're loving it! ...
I encountered the same problem (using 0.6.2), but unfortunately didn't have the console.app open. Hasn't happened since, but I'll keep my eye on it as well. UPDATE: Just happened again. I went back to an event and filled in some tags (I had forgotten to do it upon event creation). As I clicked away ...
I've experienced this myself, and had resorted to duplicating the event by hand for each (of four story arcs). It would be great to have multiple story arc assignment per event, if possible.
