Re: Micro bug after update

Did you have any other programs running when you installed? LOL do bears etc... Does anyone really close everything? I only do that when things will not install any other way -and eventthe I have to be very committed to the product :-) I did an auto update from the Scrivener help menu. Hope that he...

Re: Selecting two docs and reformatting

Thinking about it a bit more I REALLY do not like this. I don't want to have to set everything to default I want to be able to set it to what I want to now - I might want something else tomorrow or this afternoon. And I hate not being able to just do a Ctrl A and get everything selected in a Scriven...

Selecting two docs and reformatting

I apologise in advance there will now follow a deluge of questions about things that have been bugging me - grateful for any quick pointers. And yes I have had a quick (and sometimes not so quick) look around to see if I can find the answers... OK first one.... I have some 150 documents making up th...

Micro bug after update

Just updated to latest version. Clicked "Finish" up pops Readme, close that and get a Win 7 "Program has crashed" message search online or etc. Hit "Close Prog", manually restart Scriv from Start menu and no probs. As I say micro bug just makes it look a little unprofes...

Return Scrivener to "original" state

After some five years and around 120,000 words I am sadly abandoning my mishmash of a novel. Some of it may well rise from the dead like a bad smell but that is for another day. I am investing some time trying to get more au fait with Scrivener before I start anything else. So I want to reset Scrive...

Highlight shortcut not working

Cause I am a very amateur user of Scriv I use highlights to mark things for later.

Both the Format menu and the LHB mouse says Ctrl+Shift+H are a shortcut for HIGHLIGHT - well don't work here :-(

Re: Where to publish in parts

Dear Fluff and PJS firstly big thanks for replying. I am 95% better but still terminally confused (dotage definitely setting in here). I am trying to find a place with a busy discussion board on publishing and "how to's" with people with first hand experience doing this - is there such a p...

Re: Where to publish in parts

Oh I was going to apologise to the nice person who added a couple of useful links.... but they have disappeared????

I was going to say sorry I have been a bit ill so everything is on hold for a day or two.

If they fel like republishing them that would be most helpful.

Thanks in advance
Steve

Where to publish in parts

Hi I have a 100k word book that has been almost finished for about 3 years.... It is my only work at present. To get my lazy, procrastinating ass in gear I want to publish it in parts - al la Dickens - to force myself to get it done. I have been looking for advice on this and can find little. I was ...

Re: Using Dual Monitors?

Hi all can I just beg for multiple monitors to be implemented SOON. I would like to have cork board on one and other editor on the other etc etc etc. I am hoping to get a third monitor up and running soon. Multiple monitors are a great way to run under Windoze....
