Locking Background Shapes on the Canvas?

Is there a way to lock/anchor specific background shapes to particular spots on your Canvas? If not, maybe it would be a useful feature to add. Here's why I think that's so: If you're looking to create a couple of visual dividers on your Canvas, but you want things to be free form inside of each qua...

Re: Simple countdown timer

I agree. I'd love a countdown timer too, and think the idea of having it down at the bottom by the word count would be a good idea.

How do I indicate two carriage returns in Separator box when exporting to plain text?

Re: Feature Idea: Movie/Slideshow Mode

If Scapple is a virtual whiteboard (amongst other things), then I don't think the presentation features are particularly unscapple like at all. Moreover, while they might be simple features, they wouldn't be psuedo features. They would be actual presentation features. The difference between what I p...

Export Formats

Apologies if this has been covered before, but it looks like the help file doesn't yet have a detailed discussion of export formats.

Can someone tell the difference between a plain text export and a plain text list export.

Also, are there any special things to understand about an OPML export?

Feature Idea: Movie/Slideshow Mode

The more I've played with Scapple, the more I've really enjoyed its simplicity and free-form nature. I've used Freeplane a little bit and I like it too. It's definitely more powerful than Scapple in some ways. But it's nowhere near as fluid to use. Scapple's ease and fluidity is a real strength. Any...

Re: modifying Enumerated Outline preset

Would you set indents in the formatting table even if you are using run-in headers in the fashion described by AmberV in her post above?

I feel like perhaps I'm missing a wrinkle here.

Re: modifying Enumerated Outline preset

What about indents for various numbering levels? Do they track the levels of the items in the binder. Or do I need to set that up at compile time or in the editor. For example, how do I accomplish this: 1. Miscellaneous . 1.1 Entire Agreement . This is the entire agreement of the parties...... 1.2 C...

Re: modifying Enumerated Outline preset

How is numbering handled the <$title> tag? Should I be incorporating a separate numbering tag? Or can you set that as a part of the <$title> tag?

Will <$Title> give you a title where the first letter of each word in the title is capitalized?

Excellent. Not quite sure how I missed it. I'll experiment more now.

modifying Enumerated Outline preset

Sorry if this is an obvious question. I'm new to Scrivener. Is there any way to modify the Enumerated Outline preset under the Compile Menu so that it also includes the text of each document as well as the title (and the auto-numbering)? I want to try drafting a contract in Scrivener, and the ultima...
