Re: Scrivener for Windows...

ELeP_PerthAU - Click in the taskbar to focus the window, right-click on the taskbar item and select "Move", and then tap an arrow key to get the window back onto your screen. Thanks. Long-time Windows user and times like now I realise my knowledge of the OS is as holey as a Swiss c...

Re: Scrivener for Windows...

Wishlist (moderately important). I use Windows capability to extend my laptop desktop to a second monitor. For several reasons it is in the extended area when I put Scrivener when I am at work, but when I am home I do not yet have a second monitor. Most windows programs readjust automatically to jus...

Auto capitalisation exception list needed

I try to input "i.e." (which here just worked) but in Scrivener insists on changing this to "I.e." Does the same with "e.g." ("E.g.") and "viz." ("Viz") Minor but unforgiving. e.g. In MSWord if you change a capital to a small, and you insis...

Re: Note on the lack of a "Wish List" forum

If your'e referring to the extra space temporarily added to the end of a document when viewing multiple documents in Scrivenings mode, this is something Lee's looking into changing. Been using Scrivener another day and it is growing on me. I better understand the background now, but I think your ra...

Keyboard short-cut table

I was experimenting with screen splitting and up popped a nice coloured table of keyboard shortcuts. At the time I couldn't easy see how to exit from that display, and now a day later, I cannot regenerate/find this table. Maybe it could be added to the View menu? Indeed I couldn't easily find how to...

Re: Note on the lack of a "Wish List" forum

Thanks. Ah yes I see; I didn't register the Editor tab hiding away on the right. Lots to look forward to. I can tighten the L & R margins but I cannot do anything about the 3 lines of blank space before the end of any note. I'd like successive notes down the page to more or less look like they b...

Re: Note on the lack of a "Wish List" forum

No wishlist? That read, I have just trialed Beta2.1 for a day. I am attracted to it because (without all the confusion which accompanies MSWord) this package seems to offer the ability to set down one's thoughts as they come in separate notes and one simply drags the notes into some kind of logical ...

Re: 25th MARCH - BETA 2.1 AVAILABLE

Oops! My bad. The downloaded file was obviously too short..... Now it is installed and initial impression is good. (Maybe next to the download button you could mention the size of the file to expect?)

Re: 25th MARCH - BETA 2.1 AVAILABLE

I've just learned about Scrivener for windows from a friend. It looks interesting. The video presentation is good. I have just downloaded the windows version (274KB) from http://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivenerforwindows/ When I try to run it (Windows 7) I get the message "Scrivener-021-ins...
