Footnote formatting

If I apply footnote formatting to text and that text is at the end of the line, I cannot insert a space after it without the space taking up the footnote format.

One of the main ways in which I use Scrivener is to download a document from a web site that I use, in rtf format and then import that document into a Scrivener Research folder. Today I have found that documents imported this way end up with strange formatting (I don't remember having this problem ...

I tried to find whether this has already been discussed but I could not find anything. I am using beta 021. In the tutorial there is a passage that says: "Alternatively, if a Corner Mark is selected in the Options the corner of each index card will be the color of the label associated with it....
