Re: Can something once online now be published?

Hmm... Well, I purposely left out any mention of the country, 'America' in my poem, mostly because there was an article referring to a Portland, which vic-k had suggested I'd do a search of -- Portlander, that is, and to which has all sorts of nice info regarding it, but apparently not the bit about...

Re: Scary story ...

Looks like this is not an isolated case, as there are instances of what you are describing all over the internet. If you google these words, you'll see what I mean... macbook pro 17 battery bulge All of the advice so far is to either take it to an Apple dealer straight away, or to call Apple support...

Re: Can something once online now be published?

Portlanders Well now, you must forgive my lack of knowledge As I had, to be fair, thought it already to be a town Yet, it is strange that the same lot here, do so forage So then, it is Stephen King country you're from? I had an inkling that there was some dark twinkling Where an author had let fly ...

Re: Can something once online now be published?

Oh dear, I've my put my other foot in it now. Well, my drawings are at a very rudimentary stage. Or should that be at a very rude and mental stage. :P I'm an old newspaper style cartoonist. Or rather I would be if I had worked on a newspaper. Anyway, my drawings haven't really moved very far from th...

Re: Can something once online now be published?

For a little while I did to be honest, but thanks for your honesty there vic-k. 8) Btw, I'm also Hobbit Jigs of John Howe's forums, and I am also Madre Farbot of some other, err, more questionable forums too. I have no idea why I first created my profile's username to be MacRankin, as I am usu...

Re: Can something once online now be published?

Smell and Tell By Friar Ted De Loone There are people here whom I'd rather not tell Whose persona defiles our sense of smell Those stenching bunch of putrid folk Of billowing plumed fumed smoke Exudes the crevice cracks of velcro underwear I do wish they'd take the plunge and scrub under there ...t...

Can something once online now be published?

Hello everyone :D Up till recently, I always viewed my DeviantART account, Hamalot stories as being very silly, and because I was -- at first, building up to a good finish (which, after almost a year I have still not yet completed), I thought that just maybe there's a book in here, somewhere. Perhap...

Kiln People

Kiln People by David Brin It's been quite a while since I picked up a sci-fi book and decided to give it a go. If you like the idea of doing multiple things at once, but by copies of yourself, and having those copies 'in-load' their / your experiences into the real you, then this is the book for you...

Any chance of re-chalking it over here. You've got me all interested, and I want to add to it -- maybe? :D

Er, before you go forth and multiply, I would just like to add that swearing can be both immensely annoying and pleasurable depending on the situation. I hear a lot of swearing in my job. It's not something I can easily avoid, as I've recently found out by blasting my almost, perfectly good hearing ...

Good grief! It's a Robin Hobb thread. I'm almost half-way through her back-to-back Farseer trilogies. I should have finnished reading these books by now, but when I do too much of one thing it gets a bit boring. But, that's not to say I'm bored with them. At the moment, I seem to be stuck on 'The Ma...

Thanks there vic-k. :) Fortunately, there isn't enough room inside my head, err, that is for anyone else to occupy it. I shall try to be on my best behaviour while I am here, as I'm no writer or author of much worth, so I guess I won't be getting in many arguments with people on writing skills...

Hello everyone

I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm MacRankin, or rather that's the name of my handle. As I am already a member of a number of forums I can't say that I'll be around these forums for any great length of time, but I'll hopefully will get back to you every now and again. I've just downloaded Scri...
