SOLVED (for me) I tried all of the above advice and ended up uninstalling it out of frustration. And then it occurred to me, maybe I should reinstall it and see if this helped to clear out some old registration cruft. It did. This is getting quite annoying. Scrivener is shutting down on access claiming my license is no longer valid giving various reasons, reverts to trial applicaton. I still have the email received to confirm purchase and to provide the license number. I copied the license number into the "Buy"...

Scrivener is generating another issue besides the activation problem. When I load up Scrivener, first I get the usual error message about the activation, and now Scrivener is "not responding" when I click on the the "recent button." I have to shutdown Scrivener through the Task M...

Same here. Installed 1.9.15.0 several days ago. Everything worked fine. Received the same error message today for the first time since update.

Here we go again. After what I thought was a successful update via version 1.9.14, I received the following error message. I also restarted computer system, loaded Scrivener. and received the same message. Will Scrivener convert to the trial version, and when will L&L permanently resolve this is...

Stopped by to say I updated my system with version 1.9.14.0. The license problem went away and Scrivener uploads quickly now with no other issues. Big thanks for your help.

Imagine my surprise when I open Scrivener (I use the beta quite often) and saw the software has gone live. Yay! This is fantastic. I'm so happy for you guys. You have developed a wonderful tool. I love Scrivener. Congratulations.

Had to stop by and say Scrivener is awesome even in beta form. Lee and crew, you guys are doing a wonderful job. I'm looking forward to the official release.
