Has there been a new deb made for the new release yet?

Re: 025 Deb file available?

Hi there! I'm sorry, I meant .scrivx, not .scriv. I am still having trouble getting my files to open. How do I add the icon so it will show up when I open the Scrivener program?

Re: 025 Deb file available?

Hey there. Thanks so much for providing this file. I'm using an eeePC (the 2007 version) with Ubuntu installed. Unfortunately, I still can't get it working. I used Ubuntu Software Center to install the program like I did the last beta. There's no icon, and when I try to open my .scriv files, it open...

025 Deb file available?

Is there a *.deb file available for the latest version of Scrivener? I'm using Ubuntu and I can't figure out how to install the *.tgz file. I already unpacked the folder but I don't know where to go from there. Deb files seem to be so much easier to install for me...

Re: 'Sample MS' file

Thank you! I did the 'open in external editor' and I was able to see it in a PDF file! Thank you so much!

'Sample MS' file

Where is this file located? I would like to print it out and put it in a notebook, but I can't find it on my computer. I tried to export it from my Research folder, but I'm unable to. Does anyone know how I can extract and print JUST the 'Sample MS' document (the one written by 'Andrew Nonymous') ou...

Re: Screen Resolution?

For me the only netbook display issue is that I can't see the bottom. (hide inspector doesn't do anything to fix that) Resizing only works on the sides so that doesn't help. Currently I work around it by using the spilt screen horizontal then dragging so it looks like I only have one document, no m...

Re: What does this mean?

Sorry for the double post, I just wanted to give an update on things. I was FINALLY able to get it working. I spent hours trying to get the libraries updated based on the information I found on the Xandros forums, but nothing seemed to be working. I had to end up wiping out the computer and installi...

Re: What does this mean?

Alright, thank you for clarifying! I've actually looked around on some of the Xandros sites, and many people have posted up links to other deb packages to install, but I don't know if these contain the libraries I need. I talked to a friend who uses Fedora, and he suggest I try to upgrade to that, i...

Re: What does this mean?

Well all I was trying to do was get the libraries updated, but I can't seem to find any information on that. I downloaded the glibc-2.12.2.tar.gz, but I can't seem to find any solutions on how to unzip and install the package. And I found out that I'm not using Ubuntu. This computer has Xandros on i...

Re: What does this mean?

When I type: /usr/bin/update-manager
I get this error:

Code: Select all

bash: /usr/bin/update-manager: No such file or directory

And I assume this is the Netbook version, since I am using a netbook, but I don't know how to find out for certain.

Re: What does this mean?

Is that something I would have to get from the Asus EeePC website or somewhere else? Are the library files part of the Bios? or Utilities? This computer didn't come with any external CDs or anything since there is no optical drive in the computer, so all of the software on here is pre-installed.

What does this mean?

I'm getting this error when I try to install Scrivener on my EeePC. I'm still a newbie to the Linux OS, and I'm not sure what I need to do to rectify this issue. I read through the Wiki to install the program on Ubuntu, but I didn't see anything in regards to these particular library files. Any help...
