Re: Two Saga's Written Simultaneously

A lot of the reason I have been somewhat of procrastinator of sorts, is for last three years my mother struggled with multiple myeloma. She passed June 1st 2013. All she ever wanted me to do is finish it. Finish what I started. To never run from what ever destruction or beauty I created on my own. &...

Re: Two Saga's Written Simultaneously

One of the main issues is that... I have been cultivating these stories for 5 years now. The children's story is pretty short, but I've rewritten it several times in hope of achieving the right POV and the right writing style for it. The Science Fiction is about 500 pages or so and it goes on and on...

One is a Sci-Fiction and the other, a children's sto...

Re: The rise of e-reading

I do enjoy my tablet for long, drawn out reads like 1Q84.
It's great.
But I've always enjoyed that feel of paper and binding in my hands.
Brings back some great past times. :]

Re: Portable computing suggestions?

I've always had great luck with the Asus brand. I have a Asus netbook with a dual core atom processor that I upgraded from 1GB RAM to 2. I've had this netbook for almost three years and haven't had a single problem. Upgrading the ram is a must, it is ddr3 and fairly cheap and easy to do. I bought th...

Certain correctly spelled words being flagged a misspelled.

It's been happening a lot, with various words that are correctly spelled. I find it interesting also, that some misspelled words are not indicated as flagged during the writing process, knowing I have the auto-spell checker on. I have turned the auto-spell checker off, however, and back on again man...
