Cooperation in Scrivener?

I love Scrivener and am writing everything longer than two pages in Scrivener (into my second book doing so), using both Mac and iOS. Super! I miss one feature: a "track changes" function, which would help a lot when my texts are being edited. In iOS I would also love to be able to see foo...

Re: Scapple Beta - New Users Please Read

Gruff and quirky or not Kevin (not Keith): you’re a genius (some times, e.g., with Scapple), and when you have fully integrated Scrivener with Endnote or Papers for formatting, I will suggest you for Nobel’s peace prize :D !

Footnote problems in Scriv for Mac OS

When I have made a footnote, sometimes this thing (as shown here: http://sprend.com/download.htm?C=7c3378 ... aa91efa237) appears. I have marked only the text until the interpunction, but still he mark remains.
What’s the problem and the remedy?

Re: Better highlighting of footnotes in Full screen

I mean inspector footnotes. My goal is to, when I click on its field in the text, easily see which footnote I am working with.Colour or not is not important, only to quickly see it marked.

Re: Better highlighting of footnotes in Full screen

OK, but then all text becomes e.g., blue, right? I now made the background of footnotes in Full screen mode lighter, and then the contrast is better, but in the normal mode it is clearer anyway…

Better highlighting of footnotes in Full screen

I’m working in Full screen mode all the time and love it! Also using many footnotes. I would be very pleased with a better highlighting of the footnote with which I am presently working. Now there is only a very think gray frame, but somewhere else in the program I saw nice red line around the actua...

Project Replace and format

I did a Project Replace and wanted italics in the text which replaced the old. As far as I understand it is not possible to format the replacing text, at least not in that dialogue box. In a long document this is not ideal.

Own word list?

Is it possible to create own word lists? I have a problem with Scrivener autocorrecting some words I would immediately add to such a list (I do want to use auto-correction).

Changes in the handling of footnotes

As for the moving of footnotes, in 2.0.3 you will be able to select some text, ctrl-click on a footnote in the inspector and choose to have it reassigned to the selected text. Thanks and all the best, Keith Thanks, Keith! This was a good change in 2.0.3 and it seems to work fine. Another request is...

Search in footnotes?

The search function seems a bit clumsy to me when it comes to footnotes. I must do a project search even though I’m in a certain document, and not the word is marked, but the footnote sign so that I must take a second step to get to the word in the footnote. Please tell me if there is a smarter way…

Re: Word processing key shortcuts

Yes, I think you are right when it comes to Endnote, I would also do the last part of the work in Word or Mellel anyway. What is most important for me is the more genral way to work with footnotes, and I welcome the change which you said is coming. As for formatting it was good for me to know that ...
