iOS status updates?

Hi Scrivener team, I wasn't sure where to put this. I am ultimately interested in finding out when work on the Android version of Scrivener will begin. I understand that this won't happen until the iOS version is ready (this is one of the major things I like about the Scrivener team: work on one thi...

Re: Error reading template info

Thank you Jennifer, I I made a back up copy of my project's .scriv folder, then went to the original .scriv folder for the project, went into the setting folder and deleted the templateinfo.xml. I thought that Scrivener might regenerate this file if it were missing, but it seems this is not the case...

Re: BETA TESTING FINISHED FOR 1.7.1 - 27th May 2014

Every time I create a new project, type something into the editor, put the cursor anywhere into the text, then click on Full Screen.. I remain at the left-hand top of the page. Typewriter scrolling will have no effect until you have at least half a screen of text. Once you have enough text to reach...

Error reading template info

Haven't had time to use my computer for a while, so I have been writing in Ever note on my phone and tablet. I finally got a chance to use my computer today. Started Scrivener to start pulling in my writing, and it told me there was an update. Update went fine, no problems. When I try to open my cur...

Re: "Updated" from prior version to Beta version

Please disregard the previous post: I found the project target. I was looking under the format tool bar options before  I found it under the main tool bar options.

Re: "Updated" from prior version to Beta version

MimeticMouton: I just discovered a small problem: My project target option is gone from my tool bar, and not available to add. How do I get it back?

Re: "Updated" from prior version to Beta version

Thanks for your help robertdguthrie and MimeticMouton. The uninstall and re-install worked perfectly. I would love to participate in this round of beta testing, but I am trying to finish my first NaNo project, then work my way through to my third project. I made the 50,000 with my third project, but...

Re: "Updated" from prior version to Beta version

MimeticMouton, would I need to uninstall the beta to re-install the current official release? Would it remember I have registered my copy if I do so? wor could I simply install the old version over the new version?

Re: "Updated" from prior version to Beta version

Thanks robertdguthrie. I know the "check for update" usually works. The only reason I tried downloading the other is that I remember an instance before where this didn't work (though I believe it was in the last round of beta before the first Windows release. How would I go about installin...

Re: "Updated" from prior version to Beta version

When I try to open the project I was working on, it gives me a dialog box that says "Errors reading project" Followed by "Error: Error reading template info: Line:1 Column:2 Error:1" This is with a template I created. It seems to open fine, but with the error I am afraid to start...

"Updated" from prior version to Beta version

I was running Version 1.6.1 on a Windows 7 computer. I had been able to drag keywords from the keyword popup list to the keywords for a particular document before, but haven't been able too for a while. I tried clicking the "check for update" option thinking there might be a patch that add...

Re: Any chance of a Droid OS Scrivener?

Cool. I see from following Martin's link that a Droid (Android) OS version is being considered, but that other tasks have a priority for now. That's good enough for me, though I was hoping I had simply missed seeing information about an impending Droid version. I am happy to wait, as that means the ...

Any chance of a Droid OS Scrivener?

I was pleased to see that an iOS version of Scrivener is under development. This is cool news that I hope to be able to take advantage of someday. Right now, and for the foreseeable future, apple products are sadly out of my financial reach. I was wondering if there are any plans to develop a versio...
