Perfect. Thank you for this suggestion. Good temporary workaround.

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

I’ve had this problem for a while. I’ve skimmed a lot of this thread but I was wondering if somebody could just give me the TL;DR? What is the current best workaround? I’m using an iPad pro 2018. Latest software everywhere. Really need to get these projects back to the cloud so I can edit them on de...

Re: Latest release crashes on Dropbox sync

This happened to me as well. It seems to become a problem on my setup when I use multiple iOS devices. The only way to fix it is to unlink and re-link Dropbox, as others have said before. But after syncing across multiple devices again, the crash returns. It crashes during the “Downloading File LIst...

Re: IOS 11, Scrivener 1.1.2, Find/Replace crash

Awww, man. I got all excited thinking I might’ve found a crash bug nobody else had. But OP beat me to it. ;-)

Glad you found the fix, KB.

Keep up the good work.

Great, thanks. I can confirm that purging the Dropbox cache resolved the issue. Hopefully Keith catches it!

Re: Word count question

I've wondered this, too. It's a minor thing, but it would be nice if implemented. Devs: Thanks for considering.

Typo in app acknowledgements

I found a CRITICAL bug! Please fix immediately! Urgent!

In the "Credits", there's a typo:

we got through them like Spinal Tap gets through drummers

I assume you meant you "go" through them like ST "goes" through drummers.

Possible Word Count bug

I think I found a minor bug. Steps to reproduce:

1. Set the session goal to some number. eg, 500
2. Type some words
3. Change the session goal to a lower number (eg 400)

Expected result: the current word count should remain unchanged
Actual Result: the current word count is reset to 0.

Custom Dictionary?

Feature request: please consider allowing for custom dictionaries and for the ability to highlight a word >> add to custom dictionary. I hate seeing all the red squiggly lines underneath the names in my fantasy novel. ;-) (And yes, I know I can turn off spell checking, but that's not really the poin...

Boom, Crash!

I have a 100% recurring crash happening semi-frequently on (2) different iOS devices. I'll try to articulate the conditions as best I can, but please feel free to ask questions or guide me further if you need more info. I use Scrivener on: ⋅  iMac (latest OS and app version) ⋅  M...

Re: Feature Request: Allow sub folders & organizing on the Project List page

I'd be very grateful if you could reproduce the crash, as I want to eliminate all instability! Will do. As you have found, Scrivener will find all projects inside subfolders, but they are all presented as a flat list, to keep things simple. I don't have any plans to change this right now, because i...

Re: Feature Request: Allow sub folders & organizing on the Project List page

Quick addendum to this: I manually created a subfolder in my Dropbox hierarchy (Apps > Scrivener > Short Fiction > [project file.scriv]) and that did not create a subfolder in the app's Project list. (Bummer). Actually, the first time I tried it, it resulted in the App crashing over and over until I...

Feature Request: Allow sub folders & organizing on the Project List page

Absolutely love Scrivener for iOS. I've been toying with it all day. I'm sure you're overwhelmed with feedback and requests, but I'll humbly add this one to the list anyway: I have several dozen projects I'm tracking in the app, and it would be nice if the list of available Projects could be sorted ...
