Thanks, Amber - I think in my case there shouldn't be too many problems as I'm writing straightforward fiction with no footnotes or styles applied. The PWA version of the .scriv file doesn't show words in italics or bold - but it doesn't seem to interfere with them either, so that's the only differe...

Ok - thanks so much for this input. I have gone ahead and purchased as I was impressed when I trialled it and I'm not using footnotes or any complex formatting. I will make sure i open the whole project so it shows the binder in order to edit each scene and then make sure i save it in Dropbox again ...

Just had to do this again, worked again - think it might be due to the random way my stupid laptop crashes sometimes. It's also helped others over on the Scrivener Users group - so just bumping for visibility and to thank JimRac again!

Yay - Jim - thanks for all the help!! That very simple fix worked perfectly. Funnily enough I'd thought of doing that but hadn't because I didn't want it to start stalling again. I guess my laptop crashing must have interrupted/disrupted the saving process.

Thanks, Jim and Katherine. I have checked other projects - and they're behaving the same way - ie stopping halfway through backing to Dropbox. I have followed your advice and saved to a local folder and that's behaving normally. I can then manually copy and paste that file and upload it to Dropbox -...

Hi - my files have been seamlessly syncing to Dropbox for years and as my laptop is not v reliable I rely on having the back ups in the cloud. Right - fixed! Let's hope it lasts. All I did in the end was a complete shut down rather than a restart and that seems to have fixed it. No idea why!

I'm also having problems in Windows Explorer - the section with all the folders on the left (which is where the binder is in Scrivener) is sort of slipping down - automatically every time I hover the mouse over it or try to scroll normally. I have tried restarting the computer.

Hi - Scrivener was working well for me but then I tried to move a png file into it by dragging it from the bottom of chrome where it had downloaded, into Scrivener. (I can't use the import web pages button as that hasn't worked for a long time). So I got a warning about converting to RTF which I OK'...
