Re: [LH4567] RC6 high DPI version not working?

Hm, good to know, The enlarging of the format bar is obviously a bug; I had just found that the inspector being open popped it back into place and hoped it might help anyone experimenting with this. The large text size in the inspector footer is also odd; that looks like the sort of scaling that co...

Re: [LH4570] Problem opening multiple files in RC6

JRnack, did you do a fresh installation of the RC6 beta, uninstalling the previous, or did you use the automatic update feature? Is Scrivener installed to the default location in C:\Program Files? No. I did not uninstall scrivener before I installed RC6. So perhaps if I uninstalled and reinstalled ...

[LH4570] Problem opening multiple files in RC6

So I often have multiple scrivener projects open at the same time in two different instances of Scrivener. I do this one of two ways. If both have been open, a right click brings up the context menu. I can make the selection from the context menu for the first project. After the project opens, I can...

Re: [#4567] RC6 high DPI version not working?

Thanks, the issue with the vertical spacing around the format bar has been filed. This is related to the height of the window, so is more pronounced the taller it can get on your screen. Opening the inspector will fix it for the time being (or of course you can switch to the other build). So openin...

Re: Default Writing Font?

So I just tried to reproduce what I would do when I learned Scrivener way back in the early Mac days. In those early versions, you could change the writing font through the whole project by setting the project default font (in the dialog that I pointed to, which does put you into the project formatt...

Default Writing Font?

So I'm in the process of testing out the Beta as part of a switch from my aging MacBook pro to a new Surface since Apple has decided to totally destroy the "pro" aspect of their products and make them essentially unusable (but that's a different topic). I opened my current WIP in the new b...

Will Scrivener run on Surface Pro X?

So the new (soon to be released) Surface Pro X runs 64-bit (ARM64) apps, 32-bit (ARM32) apps, or 32-bit (x86) apps but will not run 64-bit (x64) apps. Although I've traditionally done my writing on a Mac, Apple is determined to kill of the MacBook Pro with design changes that leave us with a keyboar...

Multi Window Initial Positioning Error

I looked for this bug and didn't see it logged anywhere. When switching between a multi and single monotor setup, there is an error in the initial window position. Steps to Reproduce (one way): 1. Create a project where it can be accessed by two machines (e.g. shared folder, dropbox, whatever) 2. Op...
