Re: Ruler in Cms But Indent in Inches?

As of the latest version 1.5.3 these issues are still unresolved.

Re: Ruler in Cms But Indent in Inches?

It's been a while since asking about this and the problem still remains, as far as I can tell. But I've found another problem with Ctrl + Q and Ctrl + t indenting. After you indent, if you then change the line spacing you lose all the indent formatting. Hope these things can be fixed in the next rel...

Re: Ruler in Cms But Indent in Inches?

I thought this might have been fixed in the next update, but I've got the same problem in 1.2.1

Ruler in Cms But Indent in Inches?

I searched around but couldn't find an answer. Maybe I'm missing something simple. I set the editor for centimeters, but when I use Ctrl+Q with Ctrl+T to indent a quote, it appears to indent to 0.5 inches rather than 1 centimeter where I have a tab stop. Is there anywhere I can adjust the default Ct...

Re: Fat Cursor

Ah, so that's what block insertion does! I was playing around with the Editor yesterday trying create blockquote indents and forgot I'd messed with the insertion point option.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Problem solved.

Fat Cursor

A fat blinking cursor suddenly appeared and I can't work out how to put it back to the normal thin style. It's got to be simple but I can't find it. The fat cursor doesn't appear in Word or other programs. Anyone know the quick fix?

Re: Power Failure, Now Binder Items Missing

Thanks MM!

After doing 4 new blank text pages, which generated various lower number RTFs, the material from the most recent RTFs started appearing and I now have everything back.

You mentioned automatic reindexing, is that available now with a special key sequence or is it a future feature?

Power Failure, Now Binder Items Missing

I was working away on Scrivener when a power failure struck the suburb. Once I had power and the PC back on, I checked Scrivener and noticed that about 2 hours of work, consisting of a number of pages, wasn't showing up in the binder. I checked in the project Files folder and what I entered appears ...

Re: Beta 026 crashes

Well, since my last post I've used Scrivener for a full day and for a half day and had no problems at all.

Go figure.

Re: Beta 026 crashes

@deunde - I restarted a couple of times and tried different things, like making sure no other programs were running, etc. Still crashed. However, last night when I restarted it, nothing happened and I could use it as normal. So, I'll see what happens today.

Same thing is happening to me and only just started today. It has happened several times, giving the same error, except the "Faulting process id" is different each time. Faulting application name: Scrivener.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4e157094 Faulting module name: QtGui4.dll, ver...

Endnotes Come Out As Letters

I searched for this topic but didn't find any discussion on it, though I presume it must be a common issue. After compiling to .doc or .rtf my endnotes appear as superscripted i or ii instead of 1 or 2. This is within the text and in the endnotes. Doesn't seem to be a problem when Export to RTF is s...

Re: 2.2 beta .deb?

So what? I was giving my opinion, that's what.

The point was to convey how easy it is to install without a .deb.
Want others to make a nice .deb for you? Fine. Wait.

Re: 2.2 beta .deb?

You don't want a 2.2 .deb because 2.3 is out. It's very easy to install in Linux without a .deb. Because I've installed it manually before, all I need to do each time is copy the new LiteratureAndLatte folder to the same location. Then it just works. I don't like the .deb because it installs to a di...
