Project targets per week

Is there a way to set project targets by week rather than by day? At the moment it's highly unlikely that I will be able to write every day so it's more feasible for me to set a weekly target to reach as some days I'll be able to do 1,000 words or so, others none at all. Is there a way for me to set...

App crash on accessing recent or bookmarks

I have one particular project which crashes every time I tap to access either Recents or Bookmarks. Other projects are fine and they are all located on Dropbox. I can also access bookmarks fine on MacOS. I’ve tried removing the app from my phone, then rebooting, then reinstalling but still have the ...

Re: Drag and drop does not work in 3.0.1

I experienced this as well on a MacBook Pro, every time I tried to click and drag to select text I would get the dictionary popup instead. I managed to resolve this by going to System Preferences>Trackpad>Point and Click then disabled the "Force Click and Haptic Feedback" option. I was the...

Snapshots and notes/document metadata

When we take a snapshot is it just the content from the main editor which is stored - not any document notes or other metadata attached?

Techniques for filtering by character/storyline

With Scrivener's power and flexibility I sometimes find myself uncertain on the best approach for something when there are multiple options available to me so I'm curious to see what approach the rest of you take. The main thing I'm looking for is how best to filter all the documents in my draft by ...

Okay, thanks.

Will that re-calculate existing figures to correct them once fixed or will it only calculate correctly from that point on? Not sure how the calculations work exactly ...

Writing History count seems incorrect

I've been working on a project on my Mac for the last few weeks, with the project syncing to Dropbox. I recently installed the Windows 3 BETA 12 and everything seems to sync up nicely (aside from fonts) however I noticed something wrong with the Writing History feature (which I love by the way!) I h...

Checkbox lists

I'd like to suggest a feature that I personally would find very useful and which I hope enough others would too and that is the ability to include checkbox lists either within the Notes panel of a note or in a new panel, to effectively hold a list of "targets" for each text file. Often whe...

Re: How to put my Scrivener project on another computer

In Scrivener go to Tools>Options then ensure the option "Show full project path in the title bar" is checked. Then open your Scrivener project and make a note of the path at the top of the window (just above the File/Edit/View menus), this will tell you where the Scrivener file is being st...

Re: How to put my Scrivener project on another computer

Do you mean to share a single Scrivener project between the two devices or move it from one to another? To move you just copy the entire folder (confirm the path by looking at the top of the window when the project is open, if you don't see the full path go to Tools>Options then under General check ...

Re: Adjust vertical split on Inspector window

Thanks Amber. I think ideally I'd hope for that feature to be added as although there is the option to resize the corkboard cards some scenes need much longer notes than others and the corkboard view has all cards the same size. As I use it just now I prefer the index cards synopsis to be little mor...
