Re: scrivener links within synopses/index cards

ah, i see. interesting idea to use the reference table...that's a spot that i've pretty much ignored in my workflow up to now (i usually leave the inspector either on notes or keywords), but i will certainly give it a spin. thanks!

scrivener links within synopses/index cards

hello my lit&lat friends, i didn't think i would ever be starting a thread here because i thought scrivener could do everything and more that i would ever need it to do, but i've been doing some brainstorming today where i could have used this feature. basically what i'm doing is creating a bunc...

Resume writing for the un- and under-employed

Hey y'all! I haven't posted a lot here, but every time I come to this forum I lose myself here for days, and I wanted to share my most recent foray into the world of Scrivening, especially since I imagine there are many others out there who are constantly polishing resumes in the current economic cl...

Re: How Do you actually use templates?

Reviving an old topic here, I know, but I'm wondering if people share templates at all? I have the distinct feeling that I read something about somewhere that you can share/download templates, but for the life of me I can't remember where it was. I know I can create my own, but I guess I'm just sort...

Re: crashing on compile drop down menu

Okay, now I see the Scrivener folder, but the only things in it are a folder for Backups, a folder for Layouts, and a document called userlock.id, so I think I must still be missing something... :?

Re: crashing on compile drop down menu

ooh, I actually don't see Scrivener in that list at all. Perhaps that's the problem?

crashing on compile drop down menu

I just went to compile my Nanowrimo draft for upload to their servers, and in selecting the drop down menu to look for the scrambled preset option, Scrivener crashes. Tried it several times and every time I touched the drop down menu it crashed. I'm wondering if it's because I had compiled it on tha...

Re: comment colors in fullscreen

Ah ha! I see. I thought I had been doing enough clicking back and forth but I guess I hadn't. I think if I have to use a non-default color for my comments, I'll still just jump out of full screen - it's easier :)

Re: comment colors in fullscreen

I noticed the extra selection needed as well, but I didn't think to include that as it didn't strike me as unusual.

I tried selecting the comment again after bringing the palette up, then clicking the swatch I want, but it still doesn't want to do it. Not sure why it's not working for me... :?:

comment colors in fullscreen

Hi all, Hope I'm not replicating something you already know, but I believe I have discovered a bug in the comment colors in full screen. I'm using a color-coding system that requires more than the 6 preset pastel comment colors, so I've been using the color palette to get new swatches. In regular mo...

Re: Is anyone using Scrivener for poetry manuscripting?

In reading this, I was wondering about auto-correct preferences (capitalization, etc.) and whether those are preferences that could be changed per project and thus having auto-correct turned off could be part of a template for poetry or lyrics, or whether that's a global preference that's always eit...

some of my text disappeared on import :(

Hi all, Just to begin, I am loving Scrivener. I'm working with the NaNoWriMo trial version right now, and it's working absolutely perfectly for my novel. I'm so excited about it, in fact, that I wanted to start importing some of my research papers into it as well to play around and do some further e...
