Re: V1.2.1.0 Update Download freezing on 1%

Ok, I guess it must be me then.. (or my firewall or something) Just opened Scrivener for windows (still on 1.0.3) and there is a message to say new update available v1.2.3. Clicked to download update. It's still freezing on download status 1%, same problem as when I tried to update to 1.2.1 so I'd b...

Re: Remove First Line Indent on First Line of Text File Only

Thank you, that's really useful. I suppose I'm just trying to cut down and not duplicate tasks in both Scrivener and Word. I do like the flexibility of working with a comfortable font and display in Scrivener, so I wouldn't want to lose that option for the sake of a bit of formatting in Word. But as...

Remove First Line Indent on First Line of Text File Only

Scrivenr for Windows v1.0.3 Hi, is there a way to remove the first line indent of the first paragraph for each text file, leaving the subsquent indents in place? At the moment, I am manually moving the marker on the ruler to delete the first line indent, after I have completed the text file. This is...

Last Saved/Opened Location

Scrivener for Windows Beta 1.3 and Windows 7 Usual behaviour in Windows is to remember the last saved location or last file opened location, within an application. For instance, when I am importing files into Scrivener I would expect to select File/Import/Files and then My Documents folder to open u...

Search Function:Searching mulitple locations

Can you search through an entire project, folder or multiple text files for a word? When I select one of these, the search button is greyed out and only seems to let me search within a single text file.

Re: New feature request: Password protect files

Thanks for the info. I usually password protect any docs I store in my Dropbox folder, which I class as 'sensitive' due them being stored in an offsite location - more for peace of mind than anything else. Having looked into the structure of the Scrivener files more closely, I can see how password p...

Re: Scrivener.exe has encountered an error[ADDITIONAL INFO].

I upgraded Scrivener for Windows today from Beta1.0 to 1.3 (missed the other update). Had no problems whatsoever with 1.0, however, 1.3 keeps crashing with scrivener.exe has encountered an error. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate, Dropbox to sync all of the Scrivener files and also open up Scrivene...

New feature request: Password protect files

I would like to password protect my scrivener files, as I store them in Dropbox for auto backup. As the files will be sitting out there on a server somewhere, I would like to know they are protected by a password. Is this a feature that can be added to the next version please?
