Thanks again, everyone, for the testing and reports. ........ Scriv-crash β6 update x64 Just report back here as to your success. If you're still getting the crashing, we'd greatly appreciate a zipped copy of the project and instructions for reproducing, sent to win3beta@literatureandlatte.com with...

Re: [Beta 5] Scrivening Death Star

I can't duplicate this with outline mode -- doesn't crash for me. But if I do the same thing but go into scrivenings mode I get 100% guaranteed crash. So: select two files from the binder, go into scrivenings mode, select either of the two files from the binder = 100% crash.

Re: [JH] 2.9.0.5, 64 bit. Scrivenings view, changing documents causes crash

Just did some further testing. The project I had been using, the one on which I based my initial post, was imported from Scrivener v 1.9.7 32 bit. Just now I used a project that I had created in Scrivener 2.9.0.4, 64 bit, so in the previous beta. The default zoom and the page zoom were both set to 1...

Re: [JH] 2.9.0.5, 64 bit. Scrivenings view, changing documents causes crash

Some random notes about the crashing. Perhaps folks having the crashing problem can experiment with this. I've discovered that I can make this happen if my editor zoom settings are set to 125% and I click on a folder or doc in the binder panel while in scrivenings mode. Usually I have to click on a ...

Re: Outliner columns visibility

Yes, I have a horizontal scroll bar but that's not much help when the title bar takes up the entire window and I want to see all the columns together using the title bar as the key. FYI, my screen resolution is 1680px wide. I have Scrivener full screen with the left (binder) panel at about 300px (me...

Re: Outliner columns visibility

I've noticed the same thing, but I also have a solution of sorts. When I first open the outliner all I see is the Title column, but if I drag the right hand separator that marks the end of the Title column (which is now all the way over by the column selection dropdown arrow) I can drag the Title co...

Re: Can Binder Folder Names be Bold?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I was previously using the other options except for the custom icons because the custom icons weren't available before 1.7. I updated to 1.7 when it came out, so I now have custom icons if I want-- but they don't do enough of the job of visually separating the folders. Plus, I...

Re: Can Binder Folder Names be Bold?

Yep, I'm doing that now and have been for some time (not using the custom icons until 1.7 of course). I wanted a way to visually separate folders from files so that the folders can be seen more easily when the folders are expanded.

Re: Can Binder Folder Names be Bold?

I'm thinking in terms of being able to visually separate folder names from everything else when you have all the folder lists expanded and you have a large number of folders and text files, etc. Right now everything tends to blend together, and if you use the label colors in the binder the folder an...

Can Binder Folder Names be Bold?

Is there a way to make binder folder names bold while keeping the file names normal? I only seem to be able to bold everything or nothing.

I apologize if this is covered somewhere and I'm just not seeing it.

Thanks...

Re: Re-trying: Compiling Paragraph returns in Windows Scrivener?

I was aware that the current Win Scrivener doesn't do regex search, but I was also kind of hoping that the compile replacement function might be more extended than search and search/replace, so that even if it didn't do regex it might handle some form of carriage return replacement. But I can live w...

Re-trying: Compiling Paragraph returns in Windows Scrivener?

I posted this question in the MMD forum a couple of days ago but I'm not getting any response there, so I thought I'd try the Windows Tech Support forum: Is there a way to replace single line returns with double line returns when you compile to multimarkdown? I've tried various things in the 'replac...

Compiling Paragraph returns in Windows Scrivener?

Is there a way to replace single line returns with double line returns when you compile to multimarkdown? I've tried various things in the 'replacements' panel, none of which work. It's my understanding that "OPT-return" or "OPT-enter" work in the Mac version of Scrivener. Is the...
