For some reason when I compile my documents to MMD/Html, all my footnotes begin at 0, instead of 1. Is there anyway to fix this?

Also, this is clearly a bug because the first footnote (footnote #0) never properly shows up in the footnote section.

nevermind, it seems to be a problem caused by not having enough spacing after the last paragraph. A few returns seemed to solve it. Weird.

Yeah, sorry for the wasted time, that's an old bug that doesn't insert enough space in between the last document and the footnote list that is automatically generated. It's often helpful to use the plain MultiMarkdown compile format so you can examine the file yourself for any syntax irregularities.
