Hi,
I am writing a non-fiction book with references/notes.

Does anyone know whether its possible (and how to do it!) to restart the footnote numbering at 1 for each new chapter?

Thanks
Gail

Hi Bridey,

Thank you very much! Fabulous.

And apologies for my slow response - I've been AWOL with my writing for a couple of months.

Cheers
Gail

I've just tried this, but it didn't work...

Am wondering if this is to do with the chapter headings? Do I need to highlight something additional when I compile so that Scrivener knows where the chapter headings occur?

Thanks!

Gail
