Every time I drag and drop an url from Safari to the binder(pressing the left icon), I get an alert:
"Some files could not be imported because they were of an unsupported file type."
But if I copy that address and use add/Web page... function and paste it, it works very well. As it is a longer operation(with the tittle you have to add), it would be great to have the first choice operational.
Thanks for all !

This came up recently. The problem is that in order to drop a URL directly into the binder, Scrivener needs a specific pasteboard type (namely, NSURL - Cocoa's standard URL format). Strangely, however, Safari doesn't put this information on the pasteboard when you drag a URL. If you drag a URL from the address bar into the binder from Camino, however, you will see that it works fine. So unfortunately, this is a quirk of Safari rather than of Scrivener.
Best,
Keith

P.S. AmberV- if you come across this and have time, could you pop this in the FAQ, please? Thanks!

Firefox also does not work.
So I've tried Camino( which is pretty) and all is ok now.

Yes, Firefox is not native to OS X like Camino is, so Camino does a better job. I really don't understand why Safari doesn't provide this pasteboard format, though.
Best,
Keith

This might interest you if you decide to use Camino (my all time favourite browser).
