The crash log with more information would be very helpful, mcbend. Is this definitely in the latest 1.06 beta? Because I've done extensive project statistics tests - given that project stats caused a crash in 1.03 - and cannot reproduce a crash. The crash log that gets written out to ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter should always be included in crash reports. Thanks.
Best,
Keith

Thanks for the update. Nice to be able to turn off the capitalization of 'i', and the comic book template is a terrific addtion.

However, I just installed the new version, and I've seen a bug which isn't anything serious. It's just a bit annoying: When editing the card headers on the corkboard, the characters don't disappear when deleted, like in the attached screen shot. The overlapping characters disappear when pressing enter.

JF - I can't recreate that. What is console.app saying when that happens. It looks like a drawing bug, but there may be an exception behind it. Does this happen consistently for you?
Thanks,
Keith

Same here as JF, Keith. Maybe it's a continental Europe bug?

Console.app doesn't say anything.
Tried working once. It didn’t work out. Too much like work.

I have the same problem as suavito and JF when editing the title of index cards in corkboard. And I am in the US on a MBP running 10.4.10. Nothing in console.... :?

Hi Keith,

Was curious if the "file open" alert we talked about would be included in the new version so that multiple users wouldn't trip over each other -- as my editor and I did today. (Whoops!)

I didn't see it in the list of changes, but then again, the list is so long I may have just missed it...

Thanks and keep up the great work!

Fixed the index card thing - you will only see if it you have Tint Index Cards With Label Color turned off. If it's on, you'll have no problem. Anyway, fixed for the next update.

jt3 - I'm afraid there are no plans for anything like that. As someone else pointed out in a reply to your earlier post, this is a low-level file system thing and is something that needs to be addressed in the OS rather than have Scrivener try to deal with it. It would be a very complicated process for Scrivener to try to track...

Best,
Keith

I had no problem with Tint on.
Now if I set Tint off... I have no problem at all
Is it normal not to have any problem with Index Cards?

With the binder originally occupying about 4cm. horizontal space;
hide binder (cmd-opt-b)
show binder (cmd-opt-b)
the binder now occupies about 25cm. horizontal space

This is new w. 1.06 beta.

Hi there

The minimum limits of the New Project assistant Window is to small.

One can resize the window past all buttons and fields.

The resulting window is only about 40 x 20 pix.

Can’t turn of the Check Spelling as You Type in the Edit menu. Nothing happens if it is selected in the menu, nor with the keyboard shortcut. It is checked at the moment, and I’d like to turn it off.
