I have trouble remembering key shortcuts across apps, especially when one is ⌥⌘c, another is ⌘c etc. — one cool trick used to be to remap (using a tool called karabiner) your CAPS LOCK key to the never used command-option-control-shift, which you can then map consistently how you want across apps. This was dubbed the HYPER key modification.

Anyway, when Sierra landed this trick broke. However it is now back working:

Full instructions from cmsj.net

Slightly nerdier instructions from Brett

This makes difficult 3 or 4 finger keyboard shortcuts a simple two finger job, and makes the CAPS LOCK key useful again (unless you like shouting all the time!)
