Please note that the feature set for 1.0 is now locked, though I may consider these ideas in the future.
Thanks for your input and all the best,

Sorry, but Scrivener isn't a programmer's tool - I don't really see the point of line numbers, as they have no bearing on anything when your text is wrapped.
All the best,

Please send me a project file that causes the issue (to support@literatureandlatte.com). Beta 4 uses slightly different code for the export - it sounds as though there is a bug in it that can cause hangs in certain circumstances. I can only track it if you send me a project, though - thanks!

Nope, nothing stupid - you have just come across one of the odd limitations of the Apple text system. :) I see a lot of people complaining about exactly the same thing on the forums of other applications - this isn't so much a Scrivener bug as an Apple one. Basically, the red underlining is only sho...

Oops, if you have already downloaded beta 4 (as of 9.20pm GMT) and use MultiMarkdown, please download it again. There was a minor bug with exporting images with MMD - you will probably never, ever come across it (it would only occur if you accidentally gave two images that were intended for export w...

Actually, I was thinking of using the Localization Suite - I have to look into these different programs. In the meantime, I have just gone through the .nib files and ensured that they all get placed in the English.lproj folder, to ensure that they are all localisable.
Thanks,
Keith

Scrivener beta 4 now available for download

Hello all, Scrivener beta 4 is now ready for testing. You can download it here: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/dlbeta/ScrivenerRCb4.dmg And - dare I say it - this really is it... Beta 4 really does mark the beginning of the end of this beta testing phase. I am very happy with it and believe it is...

Standard novel format export and templates in beta 4

Scrivener beta 4 (now available through the Beta Testing forum) has support for creating project templates, as well as for more easily formatting a manuscript from within Scrivener. I thought I had best post a couple of examples. :) Beta 4 makes it very easy to format your text into standard manuscr...

Does it not support .zip files? You can back up your project as a .zip file using Backup To..., remember.

Like I say, I'll worry about this when the time comes - it isn't hard to shift all the necessary files into the correct folder. But it will be quite some time before I think about localization. I will take a look at iLocalize (iLocalise ? :) ), though - thanks for the pointer. Thanks and all the bes...

Scrivener Gold - minor update released

Hello folks, I have just uploaded a (very) minor update to Scrivener Gold. Although Scrivener Gold is a dead parrot these days and very definitely not in active development (because it has been superseded by the new Scrivener betas), this update was necessary to address incompatibilities between SG ...

Please send the project that is causing you problems to support@literatureandlatte.com. This shouldn't be happening, obviously, and updating should be very quick, especially for small projects.
Thanks,
Keith

Hi AmberV, I can't recreate this. Could you please give me more info? What do "42 pixels away from the minimum window width"? This sort of bug is worrying, because there are two possibilities: 1) I am making a mistake somewhere, which is fine and I can fix it (and is hopefully the case), o...
