Re: Copy Auto-Complete list between projects

An easier way is just to drag the list between projects:

1. Open Project Settings > Auto-Complete List in each project.

2. Select and drag the auto-complete list items from one project settings window to the other.

Re: Error when open eclipse - MAC

Hi,

You might be better off asking on the Eclipse forums since this is an Eclipse and not a Scrivener issue.

Re: Serif, Sans Serif and Monospaced fonts in epubs

Although it's technically possible to tell HTML to use a "sans serif" font (ebooks being based on HTML), ebook readers all seem to ignore this from my own testing. Besides, much of the point of e-readers is that the user can choose his or her preferred font for reading. To this end, all e-...

Re: Serif, Sans Serif and Monospaced fonts in epubs

If you want to use a monospaced font, you should just be able to use a fixed pitch font (such as Courier), and that will get set to "monospace" when exporting to Epub.

Re: Curly apostrophes problem

Given that it is just happening on one project, could you please zip it up and email it to us at Mac.support AT literatureandlatte.com so that we can see if we can reproduce the problem?

Thanks and all the best,
Keith

Re: minor table problems

You can fix this up by selecting all of the text in the table and going to Format > Table > Table..., then changing the border colour. Also you can create new rows by hitting tab in the last cell of the table. Unfortunately this is just the way text system tables work. We currently use Apple's stand...

Re: Scrivenings issue

It's "shaken your confidence" in scrivenings? That seems very bizarre, given that it doesn't break scrivenings or make them unstable in any way.

Re: Project Replacements don't apply to Custom Columns

I'm afraid that this is expected behaviour - it's down to the order of operation. Scrivener first goes through and performs the replacements, and then it goes through and inserts document variables. So, in this case, the <$custom:...> replacement is occurring after the other replacements. If it didn...

Re: Text Colour in Typewriter Inspector

I can't reproduce this. Where are you seeing this? In the main window, in Quick Reference, in Compose mode? Can you please post the steps I need to take to reproduce the issue?

Thanks and all the best,
Keith

I can't reproduce this either. Perhaps you could post a sample project that shows the issue?

Re: Formatting for Amazon Kindle and Paperback

I'm afraid it's very difficult to help without more information, since there are no known issues in Scrivener that would cause this, so it must be something down to the specific setup of your book. Perhaps you could post a sample project showing the issue, or write to us at our support address (Mac....

Re: Automatic Numbering of Clauses / Sections Throughout the Document

All you should need to do for this is: 1. Change the space after the prefix to a tab (hold Option down to enter a tab into text fields). 2. Change the style formatting in Compile so that the first line is flush-left, there is a tab, and lines after the first are indented to line up with the tab (i.e...

Re: Curly apostrophes problem

Just to check - is it definitely not a font problem? That is, if you change the font to, say, Times New Roman, do apostrophes appear curly?

Otherwise, what happens if you turn off. page view (if you are using page view), restart the app, and then try? Do curly apostrophes work then?

Re: Activate spell check on index cards?

If you have spell-checking and auto-correct turned on for the project, then they should work in the index cards too.
