Re: Syncing between Mac & iOS

OK, I've been having the same problems. I think the instructions on how to synch aren't particularly clear. How I got it to work is as the following: 1) In the File dropdown Menu I clicked "Save as". This really confused me as I assumed it would be "Synch" right? Or export? And w...

Scrivener 2.6 corruption crash

Hi there I'm having a problem with Scrivener 2.6 seemingly corrupting a project. I routinely back up the project, but even so I am still losing data as alarmingly this bug on occasion is carried over into the backups saved by scrivener. Yesterday I lost 500 words. Three days before I lost 2000. How ...

Unable to open Scapple

Hi I've just updated Scapple and now the programme no longer works. When I double click on the Scapple icon a question mark appears over the icon and then nothing happens. The question marks just stays on the icon until I turn off my computer and turn it on again. Then if I click on scapula again th...

Re: iOS Update

As someone who hasn't posted anything on the forum for a long time (but who uses Scrivener everyday and thinks it the best thing since sliced bread) I would just like to add my well wishes to Jen and welcome Tammy. I use Scrivener both on the Mac and on Windows and am looking forward to the Ipad ver...

029 - Status on index cards

Not sure if this has been reported but the status on the index cards in corkboard view is no longer visible. Also the label has reverted to a coloured tab on the right hand corner rather than the pinhead that I previously selected. I installed 029 the day after it was released and have been using it...

Importing photo into Document Notes/HUD

Hi All Don't know if this bug has been reported as I haven't checked in on the forum over the past few days, but here is what I have found: While looking at the features available to Scrivener 2 users on the Mac I happened upon an intrigueing screen grab of full screen mode. What attracted me was th...

scrivenings bugs

Discovered a bug in Scrivenings and one that has caused Scrivener to crash three times today. In some ways it is similar to the full screen bug that has been reported previously. Two things I have found: 1) When you put a folder in Scrivenings and then use the arrow keys to scroll down and up, if yo...

Full Screen bug kinda still broken

OK. First up: Merry Christmas Folks and hope you all have a Happy New Year. 2nd up: Lee, congratulations and thank you for all your fine work. Scrivener is a fine tool and has come on in leaps and bounds since the first beta. My writing has certainly improved since using it. Now for the downer: One ...

Re: Spellcheck doesn't learn

Yes apologies. I've been away from the forum for a while and am not up to date on what has been logged and what has not. I will check before I post any other bugs I come across.

Spellcheck doesn't learn[NOTED]

Don't know of anyone else has found this but when spellcheck highlights a word as incorrectly spelt and you ask it to "learn spelling" it learns it until you close down. When you open up Scrivener at a later date the word has been unlearnt. I think that the same happens when you ask Scrive...

Snapshot[BUG LOGGED]

Scrivener crashes when I try to do any form of snapshot, whether it be "Take Snapshot", "Take Snapshot with title" or "Take Snapshot of Selected Documents". The only exception is "Take Snapshot of All Text Documents" which appears to do nothing. Apologies if t...

Text shunting to side in full screen [BUG LOGGED]

In full screen mode, when changing the paper width, sometimes the text is shunted to the left hand side of the paper, rather like in a word document when you increase the indentation on the right. Strangely this only happens as I increase the width of the paper and only at a certain point, when I pa...

Crashed when splitting panes[NOTED]

Scrivener crashed when I was experimenting in splitting the window in two. I added a photograph (Jpeg) to the research folder and was splitting the view between a text file and the Jpeg, the corkboard view and the Jpeg, etc. Was generally experimenting with the feature. Later I found it impossible t...
