Re: Just Scrivener on a very low-powered Windows laptop

Yes, I was actually toying with the idea of getting a Lenovo Ideapad 100S (14"), which is as low as Windows can get.

Re: Just Scrivener on a very low-powered Windows laptop

I just read that the Windows-10-netbooks with 32gb storage are struggling to install the Windows 10 Anniversary Update (big one, I guess) that was released in August, so maybe it is better to play safe on the storage side and get the 64gb ones. It is a pity because I wanted to keep this really cheap.

Just Scrivener on a very low-powered Windows laptop

Hello everyone. As you know, these days there are very cheap Windows laptops on the market (around 200 eur / 175 gbp), designed to compete directly against the cloud-based Google Chromebooks. They are basically 11"- and 14"-inch screen designs, and offer very small local drive space (32GB ...

Re: Sync with Google Drive?

Sorry, maybe I didn't post my question properly.

Anyone knows if you can SAVE (not sync) Scrivener files directly in an Amazon Drive folder (either Mac or Windows desktop versions)?

Website update

Dear guys, Maybe you missed an update to the website. I can still read this below the credit card icons: Windows Users Please note that Scrivener does not run on any version of Windows - it requires a Mac running OS X Tiger or above (see the About page for more details, and to register an interest i...

Re: Halo: Reach, excellent game

Bearing in mind that what I am about to say could distract you from your duties, and taking into account what I can imagine about the inner geek that grew out of a ZX Spectrum, I dare to say... treat yourself once Scrivener 2.0 goes gold. You deserve it Dramatic story, epic scale, highly re-playable...

Re: Halo: Reach, excellent game

Yes, it does. The storyline is exciting and full of epic moments. It is the reason that made me keep the first Halo and sell the second, third and ODST in the end.

Halo: Reach, excellent game

I just wanted to mention how much I have enjoyed the single-player campaign of "Halo: Reach" for the Xbox. It reminds me so much of the first game of the series (Halo: Combat Evolved), one the finest games I have ever played.

So much fun... :D

Re: an interesting article about the future of OS X

Sorry, I kind of related it to Scrivener because it remembered me of a long post about Scrivener on the iPad.

Anyway, looking forward to Purple Cow... :D

Re: great icon design (except...)

I am sorry I can't help it. A few months after the last post in this thread, I still keep on thinking of the Scrivener logo. This is the work of a friend of mine. It has nothing to do with Scrivener (it's an old assignment that didn't make it) but when I saw it I immediately thought of Scrivener. An...
