Re: Collaborating With Scrivener

Having done some serious research recently into the various realities of collaborating via Cloud filing systems, my experience suggests we can't have all the toys at once. It's like playing golf and hockey at the same time. Or something. There will always be compromises, until somebody decides to re...

Re: Collaborating With Scrivener

Quakified is the typo of the day. Thank you! "Let me introduce, the Lambocopter! The Swiss army knife equivalent when it comes to vehicles!" ... which means it isn't really good for anything, which Devinganger explained in a fantastic way. Specialized tools always out-perform multi-purpose...

Re: Scrivener 3 Project open on two computers?

OK, I was not thinking at all clearly when I wrote my initial post. Time Machine backups had been working just fine, and so the Project was backed up to the day the problem occurred. Leaves me with only four days of missing words. I am pleased that I didn't lose more, and it's been a really good wak...

Re: Setting Document Target Word Count as a default for a Project in S3?

I discovered my challenge! The Template folder (whatever it's called) needs to be at the same level as Drafts, Research & Trash.Surprisingly, I did not yet find out how to CREATE a folder that isn't inside one of the default root level folders, so I simply duplicated the Research folder and rena...

Interesting; I cannot get the target folder assigned as the Template folder. There are no options in the list at all.

Setting Document Target Word Count as a default for a Project in S3?

Hello! I am wondering if it's possible to create a project default so that every time I create a new document within a project, it has a default target word count. I have searched the help features and the community forums, but can find no mention of this possibility. Is there some way of doing this...
