Re: Crashing on ePub compile

Thanks JoRo. I deleted my ePub 3 project format, which I guess I somehow gummed up. I then duplicated the standard eBook format to create a new ePub 3 project format. All works fine now.

Thanks to Keith too.

Crashing on ePub compile

Hi. I am trying to compile to ePub 3 from Scrivener 3.1. When I do File > Compile > Compile > Export, Scrivener crashes. Attached is my test file. FYI that compiling to ePub 2 works fine. Thx.

Dual footnote streams for ePub

Here is a feature request submitted for consideration.

When compiling to ePub, I would like to have dual footnote streams - one stream for end-of-chapter footnotes, and a separate stream for endnotes.

Thank you.

Re: Endnotes divided by chapter

While you are waiting for the experts to chime in, this might help. I think it depends on your output format. I often compile to ePub 2. In File > Compile > edit format > Footnotes & Comments, you can select the Group endnotes by section with subheadings tick box. But I don't think this option i...

Re: Mojave / Scrivener 3.1 crash on startup

Same crash problem here. Running Mojave 10.14. Deleted the plist file as AJ suggested and Scrivener 3.1 now appears to work fine.

Keith.: I made a duplicate of the plist before trashing the prior version of it. It is attached.

How to unstack index cards?

Let’s say I have 200 hundred index cards across multiple folders and files. When I do View > Corkboard, the cards appear in stacks - one stack per folder. Is it possible to turn stacking off, so that I see all 200 individual cards (scrolling up and down the screen, of course)? Thx.

How to insert blank line in auto-generated TOC?

I am compiling to ePub 2, and I am using the Scrivener feature to auto-generate the TOC. I would like to insert a blank line in the TOC. See image below. Is this possible? I've tried several ideas, including the insertion of an empty folder, but no luck yet. Also attached is my test file. Thx. Scree...

Re: Restore from Dropbox?

Thank you, Devin, for responding. I do know how to download the current version of the SCRIV folder from Dropbox. My issue, which perhaps I did not state clearly, is that I want to download an EARLIER version of the SCRIV file. In my case, I want to download the SCRIV file from, say, 5 days ago. I d...

Restore from Dropbox?

I've checked the Scrivener manual and this forum. Is there really no way to restore an entire SCRIV project (all the files and folders within the SCRIV package) from Dropbox? I need to restore a project from five days ago. I know Dropbox keeps a 30-day history, but I don't know how to locate and res...

Re: Insertion point jumps to end after first edit of the day

I'm glad you mentioned this. The same is happening to me, but I did not associate it with Mojave. I thought I was just hitting a strange keyboard combination. It's not a show-stopper issue, of course, but you can find yourself typing text into the wrong area.
