Re: When I use iOS my images revert to full size

Im not aware of a way to sync my scrivener work with itunes or another file manager. I guess I have never really worked with actual flies on iOS. Im not sure what you mean by wire. Airdrop would only work if another device is close by, and since I take my ipad to avoid bringing my macbook i would h...

Re: When I use iOS my images revert to full size

If I missed the mention, I apologize. @trademarked––until the fix is applied to iOS Scriv, have you considered using iTunes or other file manager*? Sync/transfer can be done by wire, AirDrop (although AirDrop hasn't worked well for me) or even via the cloud using zipped files. At the least, it'll ge...

17 Sep 2018 | 20:09 GMT By Tekla S. Perry David Patterson—University of California professor, Google engineer, and RISC pioneer—says there’s no better time than now to be a computer architect. That’s because Moore’s Law really is over, he says: “We are now a factor of 15 behind where we should be if...

Hi ravenowl...

If you're still having difficulties purchasing Scapple, a better place for a sales enquiry might be the Literature & Latte web contact form or the appropriate email address as listed at the bottom of the same page:

Re: Safe to update to Mojave on September 24th?

I plan to hold off, not because of any particular app, but because of the reported overzealous permissions requirements for automation....see https://www.felix-schwarz.org/blog/2018/08/new-apple-event-apis-in-macos-mojave - of course this depends on how you use your mac. Yep, that is pretty bad. Ju...

Re: Images missing in Corkboard view Scrivener3

Two things that I think will help you.... Read section 13.3.1 of the manual, Synopsis Card , and in particular, Synopsis Images vs Text . In the “Synopsis” section header, along the right-hand side, is a button that when clicked will toggle between using a text or image synopsis for this item. You c...

Linux Kernel Maintainer’s Summit moved to Edinburgh

Interesting exchange…. Theodore Y. Ts’o Thu Sep 6 18:50:43 UTC 2018: Last Friday (just before Labor Day) I learned that Linus had gotten confused about when and where the Maintainer's Summit was going to be held this year. And most unfortunately, he has already scheduled a family vacation overlappin...

Re: Update iOS version.. some news?

And...if you’ve found a bug(s), search the iOS sub-forum to see if it’s already been reported. If you find that it hasn’t, post your finding in the iOS Scrivener bug forum here: https://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=54 You might not get a reply but it’ll be read. KB’s blog post wh...

Re: Export highlighted text only?

Rather than just highlighting, consider using Inline Annotations (Scriv. manual, Sec. 18.2.1).

There's a command to export them (from Scrivener's menu bar): File > Export > Comments & Annotations (Scriv. manual, Sec. 18.4.3).

Re: Listed in the Verge ... for note taking?

Don’t know if you’re the only one but I use Scrivener for notes, house project planning, really anything requiring planning, journaling ..... you get the picture. It’s the most useful third-party software tool I have. I’m getting my money’s worth. :)

You can export as a Scrivener 2 project, or use a Mac Scrivener 3 license for unlocking Mac Scrivener 2.9 which is compatible with Windows 1. Re: Binder hierarchy and related text becomes jumbled

I think a portion of the following L&L video will address what you’re trying to do. It demonstrates positioning and hierarchy in the Binder/outline. Watch from about the three minute mark to six (whole vid is worth watching): https://www.literatureandlatte.com/learn-and-support/video-tutorials/l...
