Hebrew Word Order

I found that the word order for multiple word Hebrew phrases inside of an English paragraph get reversed when compiled into Word. Interestingly, this does not happen in the inspector comments, but does happen in the main text and in inspector footnotes. Can anything be done about this?

binding a preset to a keyboard shortcut

I am desperate for a way to use the keyboard to change ink colours (not only to toggle between two colours, as ctrl G,H does) and I saw a suggested in a forum to create a preset with a colour and then bind it to a keyboard shortcut. I wondered if this is available in the Windows version, and if so, ...

Project Find and Replace doesn't replace words in footnotes

Am I missing something? Notes is checked (and I even tried it with ONLY notes checked. It just ignores the footnotes altogether. What am I doing wrong?

Scrivener compiling unchecked portions

Is there any reason why Scrivener might be compiling portions of my work that I have left unchecked in the compile list? Is there something I'm not doing or doing that would cause this?
Thanks,
SL

ctrl alt shortcuts not working

I have a series of keyboard shortcuts that I am accustomed to, and wanted to reprogram some of them into scrivener. I've programmed the footnote shortcut to be ctrl alt f and the comment to be ctrl alt c, but although in the list of shortcuts they are listed as such, they are not functioning in the ...

resizing bugs

There have been two bugs that have been really bugging me as I work, and I'm wondering if this is my quirky situation or a general problem. I've reported it several times, but nothing has changed. 1. When I have my cursor on the scroll-bar at the binder, or on the actual footnote/inspector area, if ...

Highlighting search terms in footnotes

I'm working in the Windows version of Scrivener. Currently, when I search for a word or phrase in the Project Search, it highlights the phrase in whatever documents are pulled up. However, if the phrase is in a footnote, it does not highlight it. Sometimes I need to scroll through very long footnote...

Re: Compiling into Word document - footnote numbering

I solved this by converting to .doc rather than .docx, but it seems to be a bug in the conversion to dotx.

Re: Compiling into Word document - footnote numbering

I'm having the same problem, and the proposed solution isn't working for me. It is not updating. Any other options?

bookmark documents?

Is there any way to create a keyboard shortcut to go quickly to certain often-used documents? A favourites list, perhaps?
Thanks!

Colours, comments and compile

Hi,
It would be wonderful to be able to transfer the colour differentiation that I can create in the comments to some sort of differentiation in the compile result in word. For example, maybe the colour of the print could be different dependent upon the comment colour in the original?
Thanks!

Re: Move to selection

I need someone to talk to me. I realized that I have this on dropbox, so I can replace my current file with an older one, but I did so many things in the folder to try to recapture this first, that I'm afraid I've totally screwed it up. First I changed the binder.backup file to 1binder.backup and an...

Re: Move to selection

Ctrl Z did not do anything. And I have reproduced it. It's a terrible bug. It's destroyed a tremendous amount of work. You can try it yourself. All I did was to highlight a blank space in a document, then go to a footnote and click "move to selection."

Move to selection

I tried to move a footnote into the editor by using the function "Move to Selection" on the right click menu of the footnotes and the footnote utterly disappeared. That note took me several days to research and write, and I am frantic. Can someone please tell me if there is any way to retr...

Re: Global Find and Replace... with COLOR!

Actually, it would be great to have a number of other search and replace formatting options. In particular, I use a lot of foreign words in my writing that need to be italicized. I would like to search for all the times that word appears, and replace with the same word italicized, rather than italic...
