Automatically adding "(more)" if dialog continued to next page in screenplay?

Hi all, I'm working on a screen play. Some of the pages seem to break dialog across two pages. Not the greatest thing. But, it happens. Does Scrivener have a way to have it add (more) or (continued) on the second page when that happens? There's really no way to know where to manually add it when in ...

Re: How far in advance will Beta 4 be released?

Makes sense. The timezone thing is just accentuated since they're in England...right? They usually wait until the day before the expiration, just so there's little to no overlap between one beta and the next (avoids having people report bugs that have already been fixed, and makes everyone start tes...

How far in advance will Beta 4 be released?

Hi all,

I was considering installing the Windows Beta today. But, I see that it expires on March 31st. How many days before that deadline will the next Beta likely appear? I'd just assume waiting a few days if the next version is just around the corner.

Thanks!

Re: Indenting bullets on iPhone?

It's now December 2017 and Scrivener for iOS still doesn't support indenting. It doesn't even seem to support the tab key just to recreate an indent.

That's crazy, especially in a $19 app. Microsoft's Word for iOS does.

Re: Crash on iPad Pro

Adding myself as a "Me Too" comment, only I'm using an iPad 3. This is a bummer because I've been using my iPad in the field and my Windows 10 laptop at home,

Hope they fix it soon!

Re: Where to edit Name/address/phone number/email address on compiled front page

Thanks Devin. But, that's not quite what I was asking about. What I wanted to change was the stuff in the very lower lefthand corner. After looking through the program, I'm guessing that is flat text (a placeholder if you will), and the user is supposed to edit that themselves. Project menu, Meta-Da...

Where to edit Name/address/phone number/email address on compiled front page

Hi all, I'm working on a screenplay right now, and did a quick compile to see what it looked like. On the front page, in the lower left-hand corner is a block that says: Your name Your address Your phone number Your email address For the life of me, I cannot find a place to enter that information in...

Re: Nanowrimo template for iOS??

The person I ended up having create the project via the desktop app was me, so I guess I'm OK then? I honestly don't remember whether I did it via the Windows app, or the Mac app since I own both. Unfortunately, I didn't read the information you quoted today about page 53, so not sure what other iss...

Manuscript stuck in Hanging Indent style

I'm doing Nanowrimo this year with Scrivener for iOS. I'm used to the Windows and Mac versions. But, have to admit the iOS version's layout is pretty new to me, and I didn't spend nearly enough time before November with it. Today, when I opened my manuscript in iOS, the paragraphs were reverse what ...

Re: Nanowrimo template for iOS??

Sure, I could do that, and have already done that for my 2016 novel. But, what about the person who only bought the iOS version?

Nanowrimo template for iOS??

Hi all, I downloaded the special Nanowrimo template for Windows and Mac (yes, I own all three versions!), and installed them on my desktop and laptop computers. However, I will probably be using my iPad for most of my writing. There didn't seem to be a link to a template to install in my iOS version...

Screenplay title page is using username and filename

Hi all, Dusting off Scrivener for Camp NaNoWriMo 2016, and plan to work on a screenplay this camp. Before today, I've used Celtx for all my screenplay writing. But, since I switched to Scrivener for NaNoWriMo, and have it on both my Mac and Windows machines, I've decided to try and use it for writin...

Re: spellcheck menu option greyed out after update to 1.8.5

Thanks for the response. I guess I was reading the keystrokes backwards, which is why the Ctl-Q was immediately making the block quote. That comma, followed by Ctl again, is what confused me. Definitely think I'll be reassigning a different keystroke to that one. :-)

Re: 1.8.5.0 Released - 27th January 2015

Aren't RT and the standard Windows different flavors too? If so, will it even work? Probably not the right place to post this (so apologies for that!), but are there currently any plans to make Scrivener available via the Windows Store? I'm running a Surface 2 (the basic RT version) and would love t...

spellcheck menu option greyed out after update to 1.8.5

Hi all, Today I logged into Scrivener for the first time in a couple of months, to be greeted with the update notification, which I did. I'm happily typing away and go to spell check my short story. However, the menu option under Tools is greyed out. The two listed shortcuts (Ctl-Q and Ctl-G) don't ...
