Re: Are Snapshot Timestamps Gone in 3??

Right you are. I was just looking at the Snapshots pane in the Inspector (which does show date and time when there is room). Right. I didn't start using it until I got 3.0. I actually don't even know if the Snapshot Manager existed in Scriv 2. But, either way, it seems like the timestamps don't exi...

Re: Are Snapshot Timestamps Gone in 3??

Now, the Snapshot Manager...that seems to be remaining just the date. :?: :? The date and time are there. You are once again having a sizing problem. Either you have your Inspector column set too narrow to show the full date-time column of the shapshot manager area, or you have the date-time column...

Re: Are Snapshot Timestamps Gone in 3??

Perhaps I don't understand your question, then please bear with me, but when I make a Snapshot it is identified by both date and time, and title (if I've given it such). I looked again just now. I guess my screen and Inspector was too small. (11" Macbook Air). By default it seems the divider i...

Are Snapshot Timestamps Gone in 3??

Or am I confused? I need the timestamps as I write through midnight, and sometimes I need to see what I worked on in one "day", not a date. If it's an option somewhere to turn them back on, can someone point me to it? If there are any workarounds or simpler solutions, I'm game for that too...

Re: Outliner: Centered View, and Longer Synopsis Issues.

Just a thought—if you’re using a window management app or any app that can in any way manipulate a window, test with it completely disabled. Nope. Don't think so. Thanks for the screenshots — that helps visualise your issue nicely. I can't actually replicate it though — when I click on the synopsis...

Option to Text Wrap Titles in iOS

I love that you can chose to have a compact or expanded view of the synopses on iOS, and a similar option for titles would be great, particularly on the phone where there is so little space to see the titles.

Thank you for all the good work you do! Scrivener is the greatest!

Perhaps you could post a screenshot so the support staff (not me — I'm just another user...) can see what you're seeing.

Will do. Thank you for taking the time to help out. :)

Re: Outliner: Centered View, and Longer Synopsis Issues.

Thank you for the reply.

I do have the fixed rows turned off. It's only when my cursor is in the text fields does it mess up. The spacing between the lines gets bigger, but the text fields remain the same size as they were before clicking into them.

Outliner: Centered View, and Longer Synopsis Issues.

Scrivener 3.0 is a beast of awesomeness! I love it! There is a couple little bugs I noticed though. If they aren't bugs and I'm just being stupid, let me know and I apologize! - When you toggle the center view of the outliner, you get an option to click and drag and make the centered view wider, how...

Text Wrap Titles

Is there an option for text wrapping titles in iOS? I use Scrivener's Outliner (not the Binder) on my Mc and I rather miss it in iOS. If there's not an option, should I take this over to the Wish List? An option for text wrapping titles would be a solution to the missing Outliner. Thank you. :) EDIT...

I always forget to go allllll the way back to the main page, so this helps. Thanks. Hopefully that does the trick. :)

Sync Button

The lack of autosync has caused me to have a lot of issues. I try to remember to sync my work, but I'm so used to everything iOS and Mac autosyncing. Can there be a sync button on every page of the iOS Scrivener? It might serve as a visual reminder and/or it's just right there and easy to hit? It's ...

Re: Large Scrivener Files

Well, 5 – 40kb is an ideal target to aim for (and a JPG target not PNG), it can’t always be hit, and having some ~100kb images isn’t going to break anything unless you have a hundred in one file I took all my images down to as small as I could reasonably get them without compromising how I wanted t...

Re: Large Scrivener Files

I can't work like that. Novel chapters. Breaking it up doesn't mean you have to work on it on a scene basis. You can still load the whole chapter if you want to. At the same time, you can't really see a whole 15k word chapter all at once. You can only display a small portion at a time. That is true...
