Re: Project file for the Schrivener manual

Thanks .... I'm using some of your pages as page layout guides. Now I can just grab a page from your project and drag it over into my project. :D

Re: Retrieval of original Scrivener files

I got my Scrivener from Amazon and if that's the case, you should be able to log into your own account and just download it again.

formatting comments

My inline comments are just definition of words for my technical paper and I would like them to be displayed in another font to seperate the word definition from the actual sentence. There doesn't seem to be an option to do this. I tried converting them to inline annotation during compile but still ...

creating custom shapes

I have not purchased Scapple yet but I was wondering if it has the ability to enable me to create custom shapes such as those used in a flowchart for computer programming.

Re: Project file for the Schrivener manual

Thank-you for that information. Someone needs to update the Help text because it is where I got the idea of downloading its project file... lol

If you could post the old version of the Scapple version that would save me alot of time.

how to build a large text box?

I'm trying to build a large text box. My method was to create a Table with 6 rows and 1 column and than edit it to 1 row but what happens is the Table shrinks down in height. Is there a way to create a text box? I'm using the Windows version.

backing up formatting presets

I was wondering if user made formatting presets become universal or are they specific to the project in which they are made. Also, how would I back mine up for safe keeping and transfer them to another computer. I seem to have lost some ones I created.

Re: Scrivener suddenly does not work anymore?

Try restoring windows back to an earlier date when things were working fine - than reinstall Scrivener - type restore in the Windows search box

Scope of Document Template editing

If I have several instances of docs all based on a particular document template and I make a change in the document template is that change going to show up in all the pages which are based on it?

In part 1: Basics of the online tutor it states: (As such, the Draft folder is unique in that it can only hold text files and folders.) The Research folder can hold text or media files (images, PDF files, video files and so on). And yet I am able to import pics into my text files... so this is confu...

ScrathPad files and pics

When I insert a pic from ScratchPad does this pic then become part of my project file... in other words does Scrivener make a copy of the pic or does it continue to reference the pic from my ScratchPad folder? If not how can I make it a part of my project permanently? Eventually I would like to clea...
