Any Updates to Scriv for Mac/Win needed for syncing iOS version?

As the topic states, will our versions of scrivener on Windows/Mac need an update to work with iOS Scriv? Are those changes already in play? I usually use the Mac version, but that was primary]ily because the Windows version couldn't sync to my iPad as easily? With the launch of IOS, are we getting ...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Given that iOS scrivener needs new matching desktop versions (windows and mac) to function, are those versions in beta as well? Will they launch with the iOS variant, after, or possibly pre-emptively? Will we finally have feature parity between Windows and Mac? Sorry lol that's s bunch of questions ...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Here is a scenario for Keith :D I am working on my project on my machine in the office. I forget to close it. I am leaving for a trip and have both laptop and iPad. I open the laptop, get the message that the project is already open on another machine and whether I want to open a copy. I say yes an...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Anyone remember if the iOS version will play nice with Dropbox?

I thought it was mentioned, but will iSriv have issues with Dropbox?

I use Dropbox, mostly.

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Excellent news on Beta being this/next month. The hardships of development could mean that some features initially planned for iOS may have been left out for now. To that end, please correct my below assumptions for iScriv functionality as it is expected to work in Beta/release: Binder: create/edit/...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

This is just conjecture, but with the release of the Windows and Mac OSX betas featuring the updated mobile-friendly file format, it might suggest that Lit N' Lat may soon be ready to release the iOS version as a public beta. :D I wish. :( Brother, you paint a dismal picture. Is it iOS and its hand...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Might we ask what the hired dev thinks about how things might progress, having had some time to check out the various source code?

Still scary?

Headers, Footers, Page Number in page view

Hey Mates, I have been searching the forums for this for a bit now and many of the relevant posts are quite old, referring to an older version of scrivener. To that end, i figured I'd ask. Is it possible, in page view mode, to see headers, footers and page numbers? In short, is it possible to see wh...

Re: The Crashers for Copies (or Even Cash!) Thread

Prolly nothing special, but here it is: Hello, Scrivener crashed on me. The following is a short description of what I was doing when Scrivener crashed: 1) ...Machine was idle 2) ...Machine went dormant 3) ...this process happened several times (wake, sleep, wake, sleep) over the course of the morni...

Re: I wish for a proper ending to the iOS rant thread

Yea, but if you remember correctly, a crapload of stormtroopers showed up after that.

Remember that?.....Keith?? Keith, you still there?

hmmm, I hope there is more than one way out of that office, I'd hate if he managed to cut off his only escape route.

Re: More news and info about iOS version

Been watching threads like this for awhile now and do not post very often. But Keith made a few comments that I'd like to respond to, as a User and a program manager for simulation software. Specifically, to Keith's comment, "I don't see the point of posting 'we're still working on it. every mo...

Re: Scapple and other platforms (iOS, Windows etc)

I read your comments regarding iOS and scapple. I have been trying it for a few days and, as much as you will hate to hear it...this kind of app screams touch interface. It screams iPad. For example, Scrivener is extremely appropriate for the Mac and Windows, being an authoring tool requiring a keyb...
