Re: Who's in for NaNoWriMo 2016?

I'm in (if I can figure out a story idea in time). Looking forward to being able to do some of the writing on my iPad Pro :)

Well I have dropbox (pretty much on ly for scriv now), one drive (for most things), google drive, Adobe Cloud and Apple iCloud, all set up on my PC and all syncing perfectly. Honestly, just set up a dropbox and only still your scriv stuff in there. It works a treat. Thanks Gordon. It's still workin...

Re: New iOS app Sync with Mac - Dropbox Sync

You are right about it needing a Dropbox account. However, I can say that it works seamlessly.

Re: Title Bar Flickering

It's a long shot, but you're not running TeamViewer on your laptop are you? I've found it to cause that kind of behaviour in other programmes.

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Whilst I agree there are those that think this will be a third choice for platform, I think most people see it as a mobile additon to their existing platform Mac or Windows. I would just make it clear in the marketing that it's mean to be that and you'll be golden. Now stop telling us how much you l...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Screen brightness: funny, I find that much more a problem with iOS devices; I love how I can turn the screen brightness of my MacBook right down with a key, whereas on iOS you either have to have it set automatically or dig down into Settings every time you want to change it. If you swipe up from t...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

I had to disable Slide Over on my iPad 2 because it was nightmarish trying to use iBooks with it: I kept triggering the Slide Over panel rather than turning a page. Unfortunately you can't seem to disable it per app, only universally. I could see it being a nightmare and getting in the way of Scriv...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Well, if you want to be pedantic, the one is technically slide-over and the other is split view, but in terms of implementing them in code, they are the same thing when it comes to ensuring your app can work in split view or in slide-over mode. :) I don't "want" to be pedantic, it's an af...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

Just to be clear, do you mean the 'split view' where you can pull out a small section and briefly look at another app, but when you work on the firs tone, the side view disappears. Or the one you can pull the split across and have both apps running at the same time. Not sure of the terminology of t...
