Re: Where are the files, man?

Back to Scrivener from Ulysses again :) Scrivener for iOS is dead simple and secure. BUT!!! You must really really understand how Dropbox works. You must!!! Or else you WILL have problems, and these problems won't be because of Dropbox or Scrivener. It's the way the files are handled in the cloud. I...

I did post in the correct Forum, did I?? Check... Scapple, yes, should be the right one...

Print selection

I was looking for a way to print out a selection only, but couldn't find a command for this.

Any ideas? In the meantime I did a copy&paste to a new document and printed this out.

Re: More news and info about iOS version

Well, to be fair, in this post here http://www.literatureandlatte.com/blog/?p=359 Keith does imply that the Iscriv version is pretty far on its way ... and that was back in April 2013. And then another post mentioning the first half of 2014. At least back then there were some screenshots and now the...

Re: Previewing a post in Marked

Right what MrGruff said: You simply set the notes you want imported into Marked2 inside the compile settings. That's all, you don't have to compile, simply click cancel.
In Marked2 you open the scriver project. That's all.
You have to make sure though, that the notes are inside the drafts folder.

Re: More news and info about iOS version

True, true, true, but it's sooo difficult to not react when wiggling around in front of hungry donkeys with some tasty carrots.

So either feed them poor starving donkeys from time to time or keep all carrots out of sight.

Everything other than that is pure torture, abuse, cruelty...

Hee-haw...

Re: More news and info about iOS version

Have you ever had a conversation on the phone where the other guy hasn't said anything for awhile, and it's so quiet that eventually you start to wonder if maybe the connection was dropped? That's where we're at. This thread's purpose is basically me saying, "Hey man, you still there?" No...

Re: How to Indent a Paragraph (Please Help)

It works. I already did it with a dissertation last summer. It was an older beta version of Scriv though and I had to install the newest mmd-version. With Calibre and Sigil you then have full control over the output and can convert into many formats. I'm sure some other windows user have gone this r...

Re: How to Indent a Paragraph (Please Help)

I really think you should try the multimarkdown formatting. Try this: # Header 1 Some text... ## Header 2 More text ### Header 3 and so on till Header 6 - unordered list - unordered list - unordered list 1. ordered list 1. ordered list 1. ordered list The next paragraph with **Bold and Indent:** > L...

Re: How to Indent a Paragraph (Please Help)

Hmm, I had a quick look at the windows manual. Didn't find it either. Setting margins manually would do the trick and copy&paste the styles only but .... Did you check the latest beta version? Maybe this feature was added? Have you thought of using mmd (multimarkdown) as a formatting option? I u...

Re: How to Indent a Paragraph (Please Help)

Of course it's possible. The easiest way being Format -> Text -> Tabs and Indent or Format -> Text -> Increase and Decrease Indents.

Didn't check on the windows version though.... hope it's the same...

Re: MAS 32-bit or 64-bit?

Interesting! I have 1.0 (3983) on the mini. How come the demo 1.1 is 32 bit and the one on the store is 64 bit?

@Keith: Could you provide a way for me to install the demo and have it licensed, so I could uninstall the store version?

Re: MAS 32-bit or 64-bit?

It shouldn't work. I have bought Scapple 1.0 from my old Snow Leopard 32 bit Mac Mini. Now that it's 1.1 it's 64 bit and I can't update anymore, even though the store marks it as updateable. Fortunately I work mainly on my mba, so this is not such a big big problem, more an annoyance, since I keep g...

Re: Previewing a post in Marked

Bitteschön, immer gerne :)

AmberV has also some more nifty shortcuts to help http://literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25707#p167553 and maybe maybe maybe, Keith will implement a new command to even more enhance the workflow.
